Our Hot Bar’s loaded with an assortment of tangy, smoky, sweet, and spicy sauces. Tijuana Flats’ entrées include burritos, burrito bowls, chimichangas, dos tacos, flautas, fresh salads, nachos, and quesadillas. I ordered a blackened chicken burrito with no lettuce and no sour cream. I was asked if I wanted white rice or yellow rice, I chose yellow rice. Cause I tried the white rice. It wasn’t very flavorful. I asked if it came with chips. Ordered a half and half sweet tea, unsweet tea. And got a side of queso.
Here is the problem that I experienced during this visit. My Bill was $20 and some change. I received a small side of queso. Did not receive a yellow rice inside the burrito. I don’t know what size cup I received for the half-and-half tea.
If you look at the photo of the menu attached to this review, you can decide for yourself the gypsy math that this place charge.
To say the lease, I was very unhappy, and I will not return.

if i could give this place 0 stars i would. starting off, they are NEVER able to get an order correct. whether i order for delivery or for pickup. consistently i have had items made incorrectly or simply just MISSING. on top of that everything is always SERVED cold. nothing is ever hot. genuinely the worst tijuana flats location i have had the displeasure of eating from. the queso is always watery and almost ouley? and the beef has a weird taste compared to every other tijuana. you are better off driving to the university one because at least they can get an order correct and serve GOOD food at the correct temperature.

The Mrs. and I ordered Tijuana Flats through Uber Eats on Saturday night because I specifically wanted their food with one of their signature hot sauces (you get to pick one with your order, it’s literally part of their whole brand and what they’re famous for).
90 minutes later the food finally showed up cold, and… no hot sauce. Nothing. I was starving, it was late, so I just used some random stuff from my fridge and ate a cold dinner without the one thing that makes Tijuana Flats worth ordering.
I called the restaurant Sunday morning to let them know of my complaint. The manager couldn’t find my order at all, didn’t ask for a photo of the receipt or any proof (I had it ready), and immediately got condescending: “Well, if you had called last night we could have found it.” Really helpful, thanks.
Called back today (Monday) hoping to speak to someone higher up. Was told “nothing we can do, hot sauces are complimentary anyway.” Are you kidding me? Your entire identity is built on having an insane variety of awesome hot sauces you get to choose from. That’s not some free afterthought; it’s the reason a lot of us order from you in the first place.
Zero accountability, rude manager, cold food, and now I’m out $ for an incomplete order. Extremely disappointed. Won’t be ordering from this location again, especially not through delivery. Do better.

My father and I walked in 35 minutes before closing and each ordered a meal. The woman at the register was about to ring us up and the man sitting behind the counter suddenly said they’re only doing takeout orders. I said that their posted closing time was 35 minutes away and we’d most likely be finished and out the door by then. He repeated that we couldn’t eat in the restaurant so we left and got Culver’s instead.

What I ordered vs what I got. I ordered the garlic lime shrimp bowl. I order this often. I never make any changes. I have never had a problem with it. I ordered it again today got home and saw that there was a bunch of sauce so much that I could not eat it. Not sure what kind of sauce it was because it had never been on my previous orders. I go back to the restaurant to exchange it for a bowl without all that sauce, I go to my car and looked inside. There was no pickled onions on it. I go back and ask for a side dish of it. I get home only to notice that there was no corn or guacamole on the dish and the shrimps had too much seasoning. I was okay with exchanging because of the sauce, but finding out all the rest was a bit much. The staff was nice. I just wish my food had been better. Hopefully this was a one off. I wish I had taken a picture before I mixed everything up lol.

Wonderful food and friendly staff.
Dueling queso was great! We also had steak and carnitas tacos with the cheesy shell upgrade and Steak chimi wet. Finished the night with Cookie dough Flautas and churro bites. The strawberry sauce was super! The salsa bar was neat. The only thing we found weird was the floors were really really slippery but there was no water. Becareful!

We were visiting from the west coast and looking for something that we don’t have, and landed at Tijuana Flats. Fun bright atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Nice bathrooms. The Saturday 2 for $20 was a really good deal for the amount of food that we got. The chips and queso come with a lot of chips! The hard shell tacos are long.

I recently ate here and was disappointed with my experience. The queso I ordered was only partially melted and contained cold clumps. I decided to overlook it at the time and simply removed the unmelted portions, though I regret doing so. When my entrée arrived, I felt somewhat better since the queso on my chimichanga was properly melted and served hot. I wasn’t able to finish my meal and took the rest to go, intending to enjoy it for lunch the next day. However, while eating it the following day, I discovered a blonde hair inside my chimichanga—my own hair is black, so I know it wasn’t mine. Having grown up visiting this location, it’s disappointing to see how much the quality has declined. Walking into an almost empty restaurant and experiencing these issues firsthand helped me understand why that might be the case.

Food and selection is great. All very tasty. Service is fine, no issues. I’d like to see a better price but it’s a good amount of food, so it’s ok there. Gluten-free, Celiac-safe options available is awesome. Kids eat free Sundays is great too.
