At Tijuana Flats in Port Orange, we make our food to order using the freshest ingredients prepared the same day you enjoy them. Even our queso, guac and salsa are made from scratch every day. That’s just how we roll.
At our Hot Bar, you’re the boss of the sauce. Add a hint of heat, a touch of sweet or douse your dish with a five-alarm fire. Our Hot Bar’s loaded with an assortment of tangy, smoky, sweet, and spicy sauces.
Tijuana Flats’ entrées include burritos, burrito bowls, chimichangas, dos tacos, flautas, fresh salads, nachos, and quesadillas. Guests have their choice of tortilla with flour and wheat as well as hard and soft corn with tacos.
Kitschy Mexican chain restaurant known for an extensive hot sauce bar & colorful, muraled walls.

Food was extremely cold, there is no way it was to approved temp. Queso was one big clump. This use to be our favorite place, has gone down, very disappointing.

Great place for lunch. Saturday special $22 for chips and salsa or queso, 2 sodas, and to entrees. I love their taco salad! They also have board games and old arcade for free.

I’ve been ordering from this location for a few years now. Was always my go to. Couple times a week. But the last few months have been tough. Messed up orders a lot. Today, the burrito is about half the size it normally is. Only a few chips. And they gave me the wrong sauce. Hard to stomach paying $17 for this. The people there are great. But this is sad and I think I’m going to have to start getting my Mexican food elsewhere. Again, very friendly staff
Update**** after a year or two away, I decided to try again the same location. Second picture is the meal. For $20, I thought I’d get more than 5 chips. It was 11am, wasn’t busy. I don’t get it. Is there a chip shortage?
Oh, and they responded to reach out so the can make it right. I did. They didn’t respond. At least it looks like they did

I usually only leave positive reviews, and we have never had a negative experience at Tijuana Flats until we visited this location today. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The entire restaurant was being run by only two employees, and there were six tables with groups ranging from three to eight people, which made the wait for food significantly longer than usual.
The women’s bathroom was not clean, they were out of guacamole, and my shrimp bowl was missing several ingredients. My husband’s burrito had very little chicken and toppings but a large amount of rice, and our daughter’s shredded-chicken tacos were served cold.
Overall, it was a terrible experience, which is surprising given how reliably good Tijuana Flats has been for us in the past.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is one. The staff is friendly, but this is the most dirty location I’ve ever seen. There’s only two napkin dispensers and one of them is covered in dust. The food was so greasy, but hopefully hot enough to ki ll anything bad in it. I choked down the bare minimum because I paid so much. Chips were ok. Guacamole suprisingly fresh but extreme lime taste– might be why it looks green. Windows were also filthy. Couldn’t find a trash can. This place needs a deep clean. They decorated for cinqo (its the 9th). No need to clean, just decorate right over the dirt! I feel bad for the employees. It seems entirely mis-managed. Everyone sitting around w no customers. Personal hygiene was also a concern as cashier has really bad yellow chunks in their teeth. I’ve been to some shady places, but if I could eat the food, I can forgive a lot. I cannot recommend anyone coming here though. Sorry.

The food was disappointing, and the staff were unwelcoming. I won’t be returning, as the outdoor area was very dirty, with food and garbage on the floor. I’ve visited many Tijuana Flats locations before, but this experience felt like a waste of money; I should have chosen Moes instead.
Please skip the apologies save the we’ll do better next time and offer to contact you via email. After I leave this review, I assure you, I will follow up, and I predict that your establishment will be closed within the next eight months.
To improve, you need to thoroughly clean your entire restaurant. Don’t just put up decorations for every holiday; focus on cleaning your floors and patio area. I can only imagine the state of your kitchen, but as I mentioned, I believe you have about eight months left.

Due to food sensitivities, I have a limited amount of items I can eat. I’ve ordered the salad from here a number of times because of the size and taste, and because I can eat it w/or issues.
Today, I ordered on the app, and when I got home I found a portion the size of a side salad. The bowls have changed from my last visit. Because I had to remove certain items from the salad, I figured they’d at least compensate with more lettuce, but that didn’t happen.
The worst part was that they forgot the avocado salad dressing, which was the whole reason why I chose TF. It was an unfortunate, disappointing experience.

Went to pick up an online order. The guy making my burrito said he might have forgotten to put the steak in so he added some on the side. He offered to remake it but I said that’s ok, I can eat it like that. Well got home and not only did he not put the steak in but he forgot the pico de gallo. They also forgot our side of queso, which is an extra $5, an applesauce, and our hot sauces. The service was friendly but just disappointed on how much was missed on our order. This isn’t the first time that my order has been missing items, but this takes the cake for the most.

We have the steak bowls and they have so many options to choose from. Very good food

This place is kind of a disgrace to Mexicans like me. Relative to the quality, the food is way too expensive. I’ve honestly had a better burrito bowl out of a middle school cafeteria. I would probably never eat here again unless someone paid me to. The food had no flavor, was served cold, and it cost an arm and a leg. If you’re deciding between eating at Tijuana Flats or a different restaurant, I would recommend going to the other place. I’d rather eat sand from the beach, it would have way more flavor!
