My family and I hosted a special event at Tijuana last weekend and we are still receiving compliments about the food and service provided by the Tijuana staff. A huge shoutout to the owner, Ciro, and his staff for their huge attention to detail and excellence in hospitality. Ciro helped us plan every detail and was there for every change or improvement. He organized decorations, table setting and contracted a DJ for us! Our menu items came out even better than imagined as his chef curated a delicious and flavorful meal! The margaritas were a huge hit with our guests. We are very pleased with our experience and cannot wait to host another special event at Tijuana.

Our family had such a great experience here. The food was incredibly delicious and full of flavor—everything tasted freshly made. You can really tell they put a lot of care into their dishes.
The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made us feel comfortable right away. The atmosphere was also a big highlight. The décor felt very authentic, and it was such a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal, whether you’re by the fireplace or in one of the booths.

Came here with a group of 14 the other day including a few young children.
The food was pretty good. I had the tequila lime shrimp. This was delicious.
The guacamole was a bit too spicy for me though. They have some kids items like nuggets and fries that were well received.
Loved the fireplace! Festive atmosphere
Staff was fairly efficient and friendly.
The place may not be the best for a large group though as we may have been a lot to handle.

Authentic, real Mexican food. Guacamole is made fresh in front of you. There are so many margarita options! My kids love the churros for dessert! I highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming here for years but hadn’t visited in about 10 months. The place looks really nice now—the furniture is upgraded, the paint is vibrant, and it has a great vibe.
The food is still good and you can tell when things are fresh. My watermelon margarita was amazing, and my sister’s pineapple one had great flavor, just a bit too strong. The strawberry margarita tasted more like a Jolly Rancher than something fresh, though.
Service was the only real issue. Our waiter was fast and full of energy, but he came off as condescending, even when smiling. There was karaoke and we had fun singing, but honestly, the attitude ruined the experience.
By the way, the QR code that says you’ll get a free shot for leaving a review isn’t real—you don’t get it. Just another example of the customer service not being great.
If you’re going just for the food, it’s worth it. But if you care about good service, it might not be the best place.

Very well staffed and excellent service even though crowded on a Saturday evening. The specials menu was all I needed to see. Shrimp qusito fundito and Cazula con mariscos were great and fairly priced. I will return.

I have returned, the food is consistently good, and the service is plentiful. Fire going in the fireplace enhanced the already well thought out atmosphere around Christmas week.
I appreciate the details like the Modello, actually brewed in MX, and not the US brewed you find in the supermarket.

I have traveled high and low throughout Mahopac/Carmel/Brewster and still haven’t found evidence of a better Mexican restaurant! Birthdays, couples dinner, drinks with friends – Tijuana never disappoints. Great prices, quality and table service. Their catering experience is stress free and absolutely PHENOMENAL. Cannot wait for their legendary Cinco de Mayo celebration!
