If you want a good old-fashioned Mom and Pop restaurant for Vietnamese food look no further than this beautiful, but friendly and quaint restaurant. The staff is always been extremely friendly here the times I have visited. To where they even tell me how they cook their broth the traditional Vietnamese way, what can I say I like to talk and the people here who run the place are friendly. The portions are very generous and the price is not that bad either. Don’t let the buildings smallness fool you it’s loaded with big flavor for a reasonable expense. In my opinion it’s the best pho place in baton rouge.

Probably the best viet restaurant in Baton Rouge, maybe top 2 in all of Louisiana? I’m Vietnamese so I’ve eaten viet food my whole life, and having tried this place for the first time, it definitely delivered
Best spring rolls, best banh mi, and arguably best pho. Very good wings as well; crispy, but lightly battered and very juicy and flavorful.
Their menu may not be very large, but keeping it compact also keeps quality control high.
Service was also great, with the server continuously coming to refill drinks without request.
This might be my new favorite viet spot in Baton Rouge, but I’ll have to re-assess some of my other past favorite spots to refresh my ratings, but this place is much better than Ava and Bao (but bao does have good rice plates)

This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had!! All the flavors I’m tasting, I could cry. I ordered the grilled pork with a side a marinade ribs and extra “carrot slaw”.
It is one lady waitressing so please be patient with her she is so sweet.

First time at this little Vietnamese spot. Had a little trouble with confusion for the order, but everything was very good. Excellent spring rolls, a few touches that you don’t see everywhere like crispy scallions on top. Grilled tofu over rice and bun rieu were excellent.

The reasons for the 4 out of 5 stars are there was a bit of confusion of whether to seat yourself or wait for a host. All available tables weren’t cleaned off (I had to hunt down someone to clean mine). At the time I arrived (after 7pm), there were two huge groups which were unbearably loud but it didn’t last too long.
I ordered the combo rice noodle (Bún Thịt Nướng) which was a 4/5. It was tasty and came out quicker than expected. The passion fruit drink, which included the actual fruit seeds, was the best natural flavor drink I’ve had in a while.
Overall, I would come back to try other dishes and drinks.

Staff was friendly. Bun bo hue was really good. I’m glad we found a good place for bun bo hue since moving here from Texas. Will definitely keep coming back here to try other stuff. The coconut drink was ok but the vn coffee was pretty good.
