We used to frequent this place for to-go orders, because my son liked their chicken fried rice and broccoli chicken when he got hungry after school. So I decided to take everyone there for a sit down dinner one night.

The only thing that I liked was the string beans. The Mongolian beef had a good flavor, but it was not as tender and pretty looking as I’m used to from elsewhere. Anywhere else, this dish is typically more charred with a darker gravy instead of the light gravy like what you’d get here, and the beef would be cut differently, so it’s more tender.

The thing that I was most upset about was its $26 grilled fish dish. Does that look at all grilled to you?! No! Not one bit! It also tasted a bit fishy on a Saturday night…. All other fish dishes are under $18. I found the practice of calling something grilled when it was not to be deceptive! I could have ordered any other non-grilled fish dish at a cheaper price!
If you claim that a dish is a grilled fish dish, the fish should look and taste grilled, not stir fried or boiled and placed in watery sauce.

The second thing I found troubling was that they were out of the 東波肉 (a fatty pork in large chunks dish) on a Saturday evening.

Third, the bamboo shoots used in one dish were sour. I was expecting fresh bamboo shoots.

The hot & sour soup was too watery & sour for me.

Sorely disappointed with my experience.

P.S. Regarding to-go orders, ‼️please be aware that they place extremely hot food directly into styrofoam containers without a layer of baking sheet or aluminum foil in between. This causes the plastic to melt and leach chemicals into the food, which can be carcinogenic. ☠️‼️Use caution when ordering takeout.

Delicious, Authentic, and Generous Portions — Tiger Noodle House Never Misses
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 out of 5)

We love coming to Tiger Noodle House and have visited several of their locations around the Houston area. It’s consistently a great experience with authentic flavors, fast service, and huge portions—perfect for sharing or taking leftovers home.

We ordered the hot and sour soup, which arrived in a giant bowl—easily enough for 2–3 people over a couple of days. The flavor was spot-on, but I do wish it had more tofu, as that’s always something I look for in this dish.

The pot stickers were delicious—crispy, flavorful, and fresh. The crab rangoon is another favorite, with a great filling-to-shell ratio and perfectly fried. We also highly recommend the chicken lo mein, and the General Tso’s chicken was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor.

Even the kid’s portions are extremely generous, despite there not being a dedicated kids’ menu. This is one of those places where you’ll definitely leave with leftovers—plan for at least two days’ worth of food if you’re ordering multiple dishes.

Service is excellent—attentive, fast, and friendly. Staff always offers to box everything up for you, and the presentation is always neat. Just note that if you need extra condiments (soy sauce, sweet & sour, etc.), you’ll have to ask, but they’re happy to provide them.

The restrooms were clean and well-kept, which is always a plus.

Parking can be a bit tricky, as this location is in a shopping strip and shares limited space with other businesses. We also noticed they handle a high volume of to-go orders, so things can get a little crowded near the entrance.

Final thoughts: Tiger Noodle House is one of our go-to spots for consistently tasty food and great value. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, it never disappoints.

TY, Let’s go eat
I come here too often and I need their full menu. Here it is!! A safe place to store the menu and also available for everyone.

My go to dishes are lovers beef, sour soup with thinly sliced lamb, egg plant with minced pork, and spicy sliced poached beef.

We will still give the place a couple more try after this most recent order which was disappointing. This is a review for to go order. Portions for this order were very off for two of the 5 dishes we ordered.

– General Tso’s chicken: very dry and hard, doesn’t taste freshly made, felt like recooked or refried. We ate only 1/4 of what’s in the container

– minced pork green beans: half of the dish was with green beans that were so stringy and old. They went into trash.

– broccoli beef: it was ok. We had better before from Tiger.

– pickled fish soup: the best dish from this order. Flavorful and plenty of ingredients.

– stir fry noodles: it was ok.

Tiger Noodle House is a place that my boyfriend and I have been wanting to try for a while, and since we were finally in the area we decided to visit for a late lunch.

They have a great menu with many choices. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate that there were so many gluten-gluten free choices. I almost couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted to try! My boyfriend also had a hard time deciding too, as there were many items he wanted to try.

The menu prices seemed really fair and affordable, and since it is a very far drive for us we decided to order a lot more than we normally would. We ordered the Tea Leaf Smoked Duck, the Pepper Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, and the Full House Pot. It also came with steamed rice. All of these items were gluten-free, so we shared them family-style.

The duck was delicious. The pepper chicken was flavorful and had some mild spice to it (on the menu it had one chili symbol). The General Tso’s chicken also had some spice to it (also one chili symbol on the menu) and was quite tasty (this turned out to be my favorite item). The Full House pot was impressive. It was served with a flame underneath it and was just beautiful. It had several types of meat, and was quite spicy (it had two chili symbols on the menu) – it actually made parts of my mouth feel numb, haha!

Trying the different items was a lot of fun. They were all so very flavorful. The food was excellent quality and the portions were generous. The food here is much better than Pei Wei or P.F. Changs. Even though we ordered twice as much as we normally would, we spent about $70 on the food (and we brought home enough leftovers which will last us for several more meals). Two people could eat here very comfortably on half of what we spent. We went a little overboard since we live so far away and have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time.

The service was also excellent. The staff was knowledgeable about which items were gluten-free. They also never let our drinks get halfway empty, which was pretty amazing. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The environment was very pleasant.

Overall, we both loved this restaurant very much and now consider it a favorite. We look forward to visiting again next time we are down that way.

Completely amazed by the flavourful Chinese food and feeling bad to have been missing out on this spot for so long! We ordered garlic eggplant, schezwan chicken and chicken fried rice, which was most enjoyed by our toddler. Eggplant was very flavourful and not sweet like some places make it. Chicken schezwan is more of dry kind of appetisers dish rather than semi-wet consistency that one would expect to pair with rice, overall enjoyed the food here

Found this nice little spot for Chinese food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious! Great seasoning and spices. Doesn’t leave you with the heavy MSG taste. The soup dumplings and fried rice are amazing! Definitely would return.

We were so surprised by the spicy wontons; they were excellent. This place is taking precautions and we felt very safe. So much good flavor. We tried the beef wrap and it had so much flavor and was tasty. Very kind staff. Good simple food

I have eaten at the Mason Rd location a few times and I was very pleased with the food and service. I came to this location because I was invited to do the Tiger Noodle Challenge with some coworkers. I was 95% of the way finished and was claimed victor. I liked the decor and the location so came back twice at two different times of day. Food was consistently awesome and the service very good. Friendly and attentive staff and they all seem to know the menu well. I have had KungPao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Done Pork and Chicken Potstickers, Green Beans appetizers and Veggie Rolls and all delicious and cooked authentically. I see lots of diversity in the dining areas and actually lots of Chinese which to me gives it a great seal.of approval to its authenticity. I highly recommend this location and will be back several more time! Pictures are from 3 different visits
