Highly recommend the tiger fries and garlic string beans as they were both super flavorful and a great lunch for 2 people for only 16 bucks.
Will be returning again soon.

Updated review to reflect my recent experience. This is a newly-opened hole-in-a-wall place for a quick bite of traditional Taiwanese food. However the quality of food is either hit or miss, depending on when you come and what you order. For exampe, rice bowl with pork belly (控肉便当) is soft and delivious sometimes, but under-cooked some other time. Rice bowl with red wine beef (红酒牛肉便当) has a sour taste most folks would not tolerate. Service is fast when there are not too many people waiting. Price is a bit expensive, compared to other Taiwanese restaurants in the area. Try to beat the crowd by coming earlier to skip the waiting line.
There are variety of dishes including beef noodle which comes with or without soup, fried chicken steak, fried tofu or string bean, etc. They also make bubble tea and other desserts like egg tart. The beef noodle portion is huge with lots of noodle and soft beef with tendon. The noodle is yummy and fresh.
My friend and I loved everything we had: the yogurt green tea was so refreshing, our crispy tofu and 5 spice popcorn chicken were mouth watering, and the Tiger fries were by far the most amazing thing I’ve ever had LOL.
The bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces went along so well with the fries.
Pros:
• chill staff
• no line
• got our food fast
• delicious apps
• tasty tea
• comfy spot to hang out
Cons:
• parking in this plaza sucks
• limited seating
I ordered their Salt & Pepper Cauliflower ($6) and it was okay. Way too salty in my opinion and the seasonings didn’t quite do it for me, but it was nice to see a veg option for folks. Their lemon tea was pretty standard by my books.
Everything came out fast and we were able to stay and hang out inside for a while. Appreciate the relaxed nature of the cafe.
Other bits of awesome include braised pork rice, fried green beans, nori fries, fried tofu(not smelly), sweet potato fries, and numerous rice plates. Have to go back multiple times to try everything!
The tiger fries are not worth $9 with thick flavorless beef on top, not like the beautiful pic at all. The popcorn chicken was ice cold and had 1 piece of basil, the pork belly rice and green beans have no flavor including salt. The only good thing was our food was ready to be picked up, and the milk tea. But the milk tea was in the same bag as our hot food so it probably cooled off our food and did warm up the milk tea.
