The food is okay. I ordered the zesty bacok Swiss sandwich, and I only wanted the meat, cheese, and a little extra raspberry chipotle sauce. I received the DRIEST sandwich EVER!! NO SAUCE. If you go here please check your food thoroughly. I received meat and cheese, lol. I used the Mr. Hero app to order my food to start building points, they didn’t give me any but had no problem charging my card. Do not use their app for your order either. There is nowhere to park, so I had to park illegally to grab my food.

This Mr. Hero caused severe food poisoning for myself and a family member. Ordered Philly cheesesteaks and the symptoms came in three hours after consumption and resulted in a high fever the next day. The cheesesteaks didn’t taste bad, nor did they smell strange.
This Mr. Hero is a counter within the Downtown Convenience and outside of the store is a bus stop, where sketchy people seem to hang out at night. It also took a while for the sandwiches to be made.

I’m not from the area, but I found Mr. Hero on Google Maps near my hotel. I ordered the Zesty Chicken & Bacon sandwich with tater tots. It was a pretty good sandwich, nice flavor, not too zesty unless my taste buds were off again. The tater tots were a little greasy. Service was very good for a Saturday evening.

Wasn’t expecting great quality items ordering through Uber eats but the kids meal burger was beyond unacceptable. Also missing items and not hot. Boyfriend ordered another time and it was hot and overall tasty so there are clearly inconsistencies present.

This is a chain restaurant so there are not a whole lot of expectations on the positive side or anything to make you go oh wow, the food was tolerable. The service was very good. The atmosphere was scary because it is located downtown Cleveland public square. The area of the restaurant has many unsavory people outside of the restaurant because it is inside a convenience store. I was a bit apprehensive about going to the restaurant. Because of the people outside of it begging for money. The filth on the sidewalk and some in the inner foyer was not inviting it all. It seems something would be done about the beggars and the homeless people who are in front of the place constantly begging for money and we’re often in the way.

This is a great place to stop by late at night when nothing else is open to get cigarettes and a snack. It’s shady around 1am in the morning and they have a guy that sits in front of the door which I’m not sure is a bouncer or an actual officer. The subs they serve are extremely questionable and I would avoid it all together (I have a servsafe management licence) and a lot of other people have gotten food poisoning. But overall if you have no other place to go then stop here.

My experience was not so good the food has gone to pot. The ingredients are not like the other ones were. I have tried several Mr. Hero restaurants and I haven’t found one that I like. I did at one time love the steak and cheese sandwich and I loved the Roman Burger along with the All American sub now I wouldn’t go back there to eat anymore .
