It’s a nice place, unfortunately it’s very small so is hard to buy stuff without having to wait for a person to move out of the way, sometimes they’re cleaning and I can’t get the product I want. Unfortunately I have bought expired product by mistake. I think they should throw the expire stuff away . Food is great, the shrimp soup is the best and menudo is also great. Their fruit ice cream is the best thing. You can’t find it in any other store but there. Friendly people, I recommend to not expect them to fully speak English.

I went in to find a specific item: pacayas – Guatemalan pickled date fronds. Naturally this fine Tienda had them! The son was at the register and he googled what they were and how many ways they were used. Lovely family owns this Tienda! Stop in. They have so many wonderful items
