They have a wonderful menu and daily specials. They also have soup of the day. Better than big chain resturants. Everyone that works there is very personable and they take good care of you. Wow, I’m happy to see Riverside Family Restaurant so busy today! Our last visit they were still fairly new, but I think they’re taking off. The staff is friendly, efficient and the food was delicious! I enjoyed a steak taco salad. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and I’ll definitely order it again.

Brand new felt like day one when I went. Food took a while even though the place was mostly empty. Servers were on point and very friendly. You could tell everyone was still adapting and I dont mean that in a bad way, just im not gonna knock them for things. Idk if they did a soft launch or not, feels like they needed to.
Now, the food was good. My over easy eggs where perfect for me, my Ole Skillet was awesome, my fiancee enjoyed her omelet. The coffee is standard, not amazing but not bad.
Now for the 2 little things that made me deduct a star. My fiancee and I both ordered pancakes. I also ordered a chicken wing. My fiancées pancakes came out with her meal, golden brown and very good (I had to try) i got mine later as the chef apparently forgot mine. My pancakes were rushed. Just finished, a tad liquidy inside, tasting of flour. The pancakes are on the sweet side (which i like). The second thing was the bill. Initially we were told our bill was 48 something, which was high. Apparently there was issues with the card reader and our payment didn’t take. No worries, but we weren’t given a receipt either showing what we were being billed for (we should have asked we were just kind of rushed, i dont blame the server she was trying to fix things) when we went to the front to pay, our bill was 35 and some change. A bit of a difference. We got a receipt and payed. We wonder if maybe the machine didnt ring up the pancakes or if they were comped to us after the initial payment didnt take. So, not sure what our bill actually should have been. That said, they are super new and accidents happen. Mostly addressing this for anyone going now while they are new. We will return to try other dishes!

We stopped there yesterday for lunch. We ended up ordering breakfast and it was delicious!! The restaurant is nicely redone. It’s bright and cheerful and the service was excellent!! Prices were reasonable and affordable. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick breakfast and decided to give this place a try since they recently opened and it’s close to our home. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is warm, welcoming, and very clean, with plenty of booth and table seating, making it a comfortable spot whether you’re dining solo or with a group.
The staff was incredibly friendly and offered some great recommendations. We both went with the classic breakfast staple — bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns. My wife also added a pancake and sausage, and everything came out hot, fresh, and well-prepared. Simple, classic breakfast done right.
The pricing was very reasonable, and for what you pay, the portion sizes are generous, easily leaving you satisfied and full.
They also offer dinner on the weekends, which is great to see, and I can’t wait to come back and try it. I would highly recommend Riverside Family Restaurant for breakfast, dinner, or anything in between with family, friends, or even just a quick solo meal. You won’t be disappointed.

What a great experience! We went based on the overwhelming positive reviews and weren’t disappointed. Breakfast was great! Yummy skillet with great texture and taste, and the biscuits and gravy was amazing! We’ve never had such distinctively seasoned gravy — the seasoning (particularly the sage) was so apparent. But the most appealing was the service. Jessica was probably in the top five wait staff we’ve had the privilege of experiencing. We will definitely be back!!

Was finally able to try this place. We were greeted right away, and had a very attentive and friendly waitress Jessica, who we knew previously from JP down the street. We had the beef rice soup (very good), Fried chicken, and BBQ ribs. All the food was very good! The mashed potatoes were made with smashed baby red potatoes which were outstanding! Both beef and chicken gravy were good also. The bathroom was very clean and so was the whole restaurant! Prices were great too. Ended up ordering some carrot cake. Although it wasn’t made in house, it was of good quality ingredients. Definitely give it a try. Open late on Friday and Saturdays until 8. Added pics, but was so busy eating, I forgot to take avpic of our entrees!
