Very good. we had a Whiskey Rock Bourbon burger and a Cowboy burger. Both very good, very different flavors, so no rehashing sauces. The beef was good quality and cooked perfectly. A small selection of tap beers. They have Big Wave on tap. Good service. Our bartender/waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall a pleasant Sunday lunch stop. Good food. Good prices. Nice environment.

Fun atmosphere. Great food. Have not been disappointed yet. We just found this place and will definitely go back again. Waiters and waitresses are fun and polite to interact with. Not the boring or what do you want kind.

We were there on a Sunday around 8/8:30pm. We felt bad for the one waitress running around trying to give everyone good service. Odd they didn’t have at least one more waitress. My steak had good flavor but a little over done but the cook had come out asked how our food was – apologized & explained. Was quite nice & seemed sincere. Wouldn’t mind trying this place again when we are in the area.

Overall had a fun time and positive dining experience at the thunder lodge. While the food isn’t likely to be featured on DDD anytime soon, it wasn’t bad, and was a good value. Drinks were stiff, just how I like them, and staff was friendly. If I was in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate stopping by.

We ordered a to go order from here and within 10 minutes received a prank phone call from someone about positive STD testing. It was suspicious that it happened so soon after leaving our phone number. Then when we went to pick up the food someone in the back was talking about my fiancé (whose name was on the order) so right away I knew it was from here. It was later verified with a complaint that it was an employee. We got a not super convincing “apology” call from the number 30 minutes after the complaint. Our food was all burnt and I am pregnant too, so due to the unprofessional call I didn’t trust my food and tossed it anyway. I’m guessing the employee kept their job since the “apologized”. Won’t be ordering here anymore which makes me sad because I loved the wings! Never really found out details behind the prank or anymore from the management after the complaint, but stealing customers phone numbers is highly unprofessional.

Burgers were all overcooked and the buns were hard and crispy. They were obviously left under the heat lamps for too long. We waited a very long time for our food even though we were the only table in the restaurant. Very disappointing

Recently back up n running with new owners. If your looking for a quick and cheap place to grab some food, probably not your best stop. However, if you want something a little different than every other small town restaurant/bar food…then its a must! Although a little higher priced, it was delicious! The salt and vinegar wings A++ as well as there Mexican tacos…and my friend had something else on special, cant remember what it was, but i just remember it was DELICIOUS.
They put there little twist on the menu and it.is.yummy.
Lots of room if you have a big group. There hard work seems to be paying off!

Stopped for a fish fry, very delicious. Included homemade soup and salad bar. I also ordered a bloody Mary which looked great but WAY to much pickle juice, had to send it back, everything else was fabulous. Suggestion to owners, you are on the lake, it would have been nice to have a view of the lake. -mjs
