Wonderful, cozy place. Staff and servers are very warm and attentive. We had a ham sandwich, a flavorful autumn squash soup, and a bright side salad of apples and craisins and candied walnuts on a bed of fresh greens. We also tried the 4 cheese and feta spinach quiche. Portions are plentiful, and presented pleasantly.
We’ll be back again!

Our experience at Thriving Hive was nothing short of excellent. Bebe was able to get us in for a last minute tea with my daughter and friend. The most thoughtful part was that Bebe asked that I provide a list of foods my 5 year old liked/didn’t like so she could ensure my child would have a wonderful time. And she loved everything that was placed in front of her. This shop is so warm and welcoming, the staff were all so sweet. The teas were fantastic and I loved that we each got to choose our own teapot. And just like my daughter, I enjoyed everything that was presented to us! The soups, the quiche, the finger sandwiches, scones, desserts. All excellent!! Thank you to all the staff for making my daughter’s first tea party a memorable one! We will definitely be frequent visitors to The Hive!!

I had a lunchtime tea with 3 other friends at Thriving Hive last week and it was one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had at a tea room. We were seated immediately and our servers were very friendly, as was Bea, the owner and hostess, who chatted with us at various times through the meal. She answered any questions we had about the offerings and how she and her husband create their delicious food. We each got to choose our teapot from a wall of charming pots, and ordered our tea – I got my fave Earl Gray, which was great. The full tea lunch included a plate with salad (local farm ingredients), a cup of really tasty soup (butternut squash or tomato, both excellent), and a small block of quiche, delicious. Then came the three-tiered tray of traditional fare – tea sandwiches made with fresh springy bread, rich scones with clotted cream and lemon curd, and desserts like a perfect little strawberry shortcake and a creamy cup of custard topped with crumble. The space is part novelty food shop/part tea room and so you just have to shop after the meal to bring home some of their goodies. Bea also kindly allowed us some samplings of their smoked pork roll and sausages (smoked right there on site by her husband), which were heavenly. My friends and I all agreed we’d be back soon, and we all left with extra treats – jellies, honeys, frozen pork rolls – to enjoy later. Five stars for the experience, service and food at Thriving Hive!

Stepping into Bebe and Pops Thriving Hive is like entering a whimsical fairytale — one steeped in love, laughter, and the most divine tea you’ll ever sip. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in a warm hug of floral aromas, soft music, and vintage charm. It’s not just a tea place — it’s a whole experience.

The tea selection is absolutely magical, with blends that feel handcrafted for the soul. Whether you’re a lavender dreamer or a bold chai queen, there’s something for every taste — and the flavors? Heavenly. The honey is local and pure, and don’t even get me started on the little treats that come with each cup.

But the real heart of the Hive is its gentle caretakers. — their kindness, creativity, and sparkle are infused into every detail. From dazzling teacups to personalized recommendations, they make every guest feel like royalty.

Perfect for cozy dates, catching up with friends, or — in my case — throwing the most adorable, unforgettable tea party. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, tastes like magic, and thrives on joy, this is it.

10/10. Will be buzzing back soon.

What a beautiful cafe. Family oriented. Dog friendly. Owner was so accommodating to us with our Newfie. Very clean. Everything is freshly prepared and made. They offer lots of local products for sale. Kombucha on tap. Smoothies are delicious. Reserved Tea is highly popular and books out quickly. Need about a month notice for reservations. Will definitely be recommending and returning. A BEEautiful place to be.

Wonderful experience today. Very helpful and kind staff. I have a gluten allergy and they do have gluten free bread to sub for the regular bread. They are not a “celiac friendly” facility but I felt fine after eating what I had. My friends and I got the La special and it was very filling and fresh. Had refills on coffee pots or tea pots. We will be back again! Thanks for a wonderful time out with friends!

Such a lovely spot! we felt right at home. My husband had a fragrant jasmine tea, I enjoyed a smooth coffee with milk served with the sweetest little milk jar. The portions are generous, the space is beautifully decorated, full of charm, and the attention to detail makes all the difference. The staff was warm and welcoming. We came as a family, and left with happy hearts.

My first tea room experience and it was special from the minute you sit down. Reservations are a must. The food is served delicately with proper etiquette. You get to pick your very own tea pot from the most adorable selection. The seating is surrounded by a quaint gift shop setting so you can browse and eat. No rush!!!! All food made to order and all teas and brews are produced locally. This was was definitely an experience I will be sharing with family and friends.

We had a delightful time! The place is cute and has a fun selection of things to eat. We had made a reservation for the tea. We got to pick our tea pots, the options are all sooper cute. The food was great and even my kid liked it. It’s very pretty inside and the host was incredibly friendly. They make their own meats and the hashbrown sausage was incredible. They also have fun things and jewelry for sale. The chicken curry sandwich was incredible and the desserts were all delicious. There are so many teas and the prices are great. I would definitely make the drive again
