I’m going to give a neutral 3 , good but not great. Was here for a hangout and saw their menu and it piqued my interest from the items they have. I will give them credit that they are nice takes on dishes. And the pork belly was cooked good , but the rest of the dish could use a little work. It was $15 for this bowl , and I saw on there that it had sushi rice. There was maybe like a half scoop of rice at the bottom so it really wasn’t even a bed of rice to absorb all of the sauce that was poured onto it. Soupy is the best way to describe what I got. For the Serrano pepper, it was ok but I would maybe consider going to like a sliced up bird eye chili for a bit more punch / color contrast/ heat. I feel like the idea and the concepts are there. But along with seeing the other reviews , the process and product need refinement.

We came to Thrive on 5th Avenue because we love the outdoor area they have for kids — it’s such a great, relaxed setup when you’re dining with friends and little ones.
This time we ordered a bit of everything: nuggets and fries, bao buns, Brussels sprouts, noodles, and the pork ribs with rice. Honestly, every single dish was delicious. There’s a wide variety on the menu, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh.
I’ve personally been here three times when visiting friends, and they come here regularly. It’s one of their go-to spots because the food quality is consistently great. You leave feeling satisfied and happy with your meal, not overly full or weighed down.
They also have a great bar area in the front, which adds to the overall vibe.
Highly recommend checking out Thrive if you’re in the area!

I want to love this pace so much as Apopka needs more restaurants with menus like this, but every time I give it a chance I’m so disappointed. I ordered the Mr.Rice guy with a few other items and while the other items were pretty decent with the exception of the Noods which were dry and pretty flavorless the Mr, Rice guy was down right nasty. What was supposed to be raw tuna was so overcooked and all the way through that it was beige and so tough. I tired to eat it but ultimately had to trash it because raw tuna should never look like this and certainly shouldn’t have this texture. I hope the quality improves soon so I can give it another chance.

The fried salmon sushi with cream cheese (not the actual name, but you’ll know which one it is) is HEAVENLY!! I’ve been here twice and ordered the bacon slider the previous time, and it all arrived in great timing. The staff have a great energy to their team as they work that makes you want to keep visiting—definitely reflects in how good the food is! 🙂

Absolutely disgusting experience last night. It’s been going down hill since the first time I ordered which is why I’m sharing. Attached are pictures of the first time I ordered the Mr. Rice guy dish and then last night and a picture of the burnt paper pieces found in the fire fries. Previously I’ve received the cukes of hazard with absolutely no marinate, just dry cucumbers. Everything was delicious the first time I ordered when they initially opened, but I’ve had bad experiences since. The food is too expensive to be served like this.

Came to the Hall on 5th recently for my first time and took a look around. I wanted to go to my top three most interesting restaurants, and Thrive was definitely one of them. I talked with the employee there, and she had some good insights on some of their best food items. I was sold.
I started out with their Small, Dark & Handsome Sliders (Blackberries, Brie Cheese, Thyme-infused Honey, Cucumber, Microgreens). A nice-sized patty for a slider, but everything else was lacking in quantity. I could tell there was some blackberry there, and some brie, but I could not sense any textures from those two ingredients. Just a bit disappointing.
I also got the Korean Buffalo Chicken Bao (Korean Buffalo Fried Chicken, Sour Pickles, Scallions, Togarashi, Sesame Seeds). Very good flavor from the chicken, and with a little patty that small, the crunch-to-meat ratio was very nice. But the bao bun itself was a little dense and doughy, a far cry from some of the other big bao players in town.
Overall, the flavors here were very nice. Some of the textural details left a lot to be desired, though. A very nice experience.

Our friend just moved to the area and we wanted to check out the farmers market we saw on IG. The website said the food hall closed at a different time than we thought so when we went in they were closing all the food spots. The guy at thrive noticed us looking lost and offered to stay open for us. We kept saying no it’s ok but he insisted and was so kind helpful and patient. We ordered and the food was phenomenal. Not only was he so amazing the food was sooooooooooo good and we can’t wait to go back again!
