I bought the catfish plate and it was so good! Im from out of state but this dish brought back so many happy memories it felt like I was back home. Staff was kind and patient. Its a small space but I was able to sit and eat my meal inside with out any issues. The wait is worth it! Your food is made to order so it comes to you hot and fresh. I will definitely be eating here again.

I give it 5 stars because my family loved their food and stated it was seasoned very well!!! I went with the half rack of lamb chops knowing I don’t care for the musty smell of lamb chops (I’ve just accept that lamb chops is an acquired taste that I will never have) so I won’t state that they weren’t good because the lady eating next to us was KILLING HER LAMB CHOPS We waited a little over an hour (that’s from placing the order to receiving our food). The staff was very friendly and upbeat even though their A/C is clearly broken. The thermostat was set on 72 but reading 84 and went up to 85 by the time we left. Since we live 45 minutes away, I don’t see myself going out the way to come back. However, my teens are stating they can’t wait to use their allowances to order from here and have it delivered via doordash! To the owners, keep up the good work as far as quality of staff and for extremely large portion sizes even in an economy where everything is increasing and quantity is decreasing

This place if amazing! Service is good and food is 10/10 hands down!! This one of those plates where if you put it in the fridge and someone eat it yall have to fight !!!!! Baby they season them lamb chops like somebody life was on the line!!! The creole pasta 10/10 amazingly creamy and flavorful!!! The Mac & cheese is different from back home in NC but still 10/10!!! Everything was absolutely delicious! We certainly will be back. I appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment as well. Just makes the guest experience even more enjoyable. To the owner and chef we absolutely appreciate the love you put into this food I wish your company much success and prosperity!!!!

I wanted to like the food so bad since it was my first time visiting and the presentation was so well put together, but I was unfortunately disappointed. I went for restaurant week and got the Bayou shrimp burger with 4 wings, fried pound cake, and Bayou eggroll. For $38.50, I was highly upset that half of my food was inedible. The burger patty was tough dry and overcooked, the shrimp on the burger were so heavily salted, and the bottom bun felt stale. Fried pound cake was like a sponge that soaked up all of the oil, and soon as I bit into it my taste buds were engulfed in oil. The wings were ok, fried hard like I like them, but tossed way too heavily in the sauce. Maybe I should have chosen a different sauce. The only things that were pleasant to eat on the plate was the the fries that came with the burger, and the bayou eggroll (a seafood eggroll) that was seasoned well and very flavorful.

This restaurant gets a 10 out of 10 hands-down the food is amazing. Today I tried the lamb chops for the first time. I am in love the loaded potato and the mac & cheese spot on delicious. The customer service wonderful they’re very nice and polite and check on their customers they make you feel comfortable. So if you’re looking for Good Louisiana Creole dishes stop by. It is very good. I recommend it. I love it.❤️

The customer service was 10 out of 10. The food was 10 out of 10. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the fried catfish with mac & cheese and fries. Everything was so hot to the point I had to bring the spit from the back of my mouth up exactly how I love my food, hot and ready. I would recommend anyone to stop through if you’re looking for some good egg rolls and great catfish with excellent customer service. The best part about it is they have a drive-through, but I decided to sit in which I don’t regret the place. Was very clean And it was such a vibe because they were playing all the R&B hits Don’t walk run!!! yes, I will be back

The wings tasted grilled and had amazing flavor. Best garlic parmesan wings I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese were the creamiest ever as well. I can’t say enough good things about the loaded mashed potatoes and of course the fried fish was on point. The shrimp also tasted grilled and were truly plump and delicious. The only thing lacking was not having a dessert menu. Amazing place surprised this is the first I have heard of it considering it is almost a year old.

Food was overall OK! This could have been 5 stars had it been warmer. I had the Lamb Chops & pasta. We were prepared to wait atleast 30 minutes being that we were a walk in order so the long wait time is expected however, the temperature of the food did not match the wait time. Food was seasoned to perfection however pasta is the best when it’s hot, not cool/warm.

Stopped in at The Bayou Affect while working through Baton Rouge, and damn—it hit the spot. The wings were straight-up addicting, that spicy lemon pepper needs its own fan club. Catfish was crispy, seasoned right, and cooked with care. Portions? Big enough to refuel after a long day grinding.
Service was cool, vibe was clean, and the food came out hot. You can tell they’re serious about flavor and feeding folks like family. This ain’t fast food—it’s real food.
If you’re ever out this way and want something that feels homemade but hits hard, don’t sleep on it. I’ll definitely be back.
