Don’t overlook this local favorite! In the mood for just a good burger and fries that don’t leave you unsatisfied like the fast food places do? You’ve found it! There is ample seating, although choose wisely as some seats are directly under the air conditioning ducts. They also have a couple fun vintage arcade games! Something to take note of, the restrooms are down a flight of stairs to the basement so if you are handicapped or impaired, be sure to relieve yourself before arriving. This place has been running for many years and some locals have come here since a child.

Whoot! I love this place! This is the first time I’ve been here for 30 or so years, since I was a little girl! Everything about this place is great! I dined in, service was fast, food was quick for just made, fries are AMAZING and so is the tartar sauce! So many memories and more to come. For me, this is THE burger place. I don’t remember giving any food establishment a five star rating until NOW! How is it that there isn’t a line around the block to get in here. You will not find a better meal at these prices ANYWHERE! Come on 24 shrimp, with fries and a salad for $12.99? Oh I ate some of the fries before taking the photo. I just found this place yesterday and went again today! It is now on our list of must visits when in Spokane. Tried a cheese burger tonight and for $3.59 its the real deal!

There is no better place to eat at than Mickey D’s, except Thrifty Scotsman…they have really good tasty food. I had a cheeseburger, water, and fries. The fries are delicious and rectangle in shape. The indoor is unique to say the least but the outside is ghetto, there are old school arcade games; “Pacman”, for serious! The wall decor is like, …ooOOoo…nuts! On one side of the window you can see a closed sad old run down nightclub called the “Blue Dolphin “…it helps this neighborhood look real ghetto! I digress…I left as soon as kids showed up b/c the parents didn’t train them to have indoor voices, the place is too small for that. However, if you can catch a meal when they are slow, it’s so peaceful. The menu on paper has no prices – I usually run until I can see no black top when there are no prices but the food is insane so this time I can’t run. The menu at the counter does have prices and it isn’t cheap anymore…BUT THE FOOD, THE FOOD, IT’S SO GOOD!

My friend and I stopped here because of all the good things we heard. I have to say what I heard didn’t do this place justice! I got the grilled chicken sandwich, and unlike most places, the meat wasn’t tough like old boot leather. My friend ordered some kind of double burger. I don’t eat red meat very often, but next time, when I get a craving for a hamburger, I’ll order that! The French fries were delicious, and a large was enough for the two of us. Two sandwiches, a large fry, and two drinks were just slightly over $25. A great price for these days. The restaurant was busy, but we still got our order in a timely fashion. The staff were incredible! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is more of a fast food restaurant but the prices are pretty spot on with fast food too. You order and pay and then get your food. Never had a problem and all food comes out hot since it made to order so be prepared to wait.

Our first time going here. I had read the reviews. It was really good food. Made to order. Fresh & hot. I think the onion rings are the best I’ve ever had. And hot out of the fryer. My bacon cheeseburger was really good. The bacon was very delicious. The gal at the counter was friendly and was smiling. I highly recommend this place. It’s not fancy and it was kind of noisy, but good food.

Not much on atmosphere like, say, a Red Robin might be with all their hyped-up decor. But the establishment is super clean and family friendly. The food is amazing and portions are generous for the money. The name says it all! I highly recommend the blackberry milkshake! Oh, and I used to order two burgers whenever I would go to a hamburger restaurant because they never were big enough – that’s a big mistake at Thrifty Scotsman because the burgers are huge! Best fast food hamburger diner in all of Spokane!! I will never pass them by to go somewhere else ever again!
