Very good shrimp fried rice and fried shrimp. I wish they had scratch off tickets then they would be a strong 4, maybe even a soft 5. The store also expects EBT (food stamps).

Definitely a hole in the walk type of place. The food is good, I’ve never had an issue with the service, but the atmosphere is not very esthetically pleasing.
There is always a wide variety of options for snacks and hot food.
I remember growing up and coming here for a hot plate of food. Potato log, fried fish, fried rice, chicken wings, boudin sausage, boiled food, etc. I used to love their fried chicken and fried fish. I feel like it tastes different now, so it’s not my go to place anymore. It’s still nostalgic for me though

I use to love this place until a bad experience on today. My daughter and I took a trip to Amite La just to purchase seafood from there, because we’re from Louisiana and love their food. We reside in Mississippi and took the 1 and 1/2 trip to get Mama noodles and seafood, after getting home and my daughter was getting ready to eat the crayfish and they were black inside. She called a told them and they asked her to bring them back, but due to the distance we couldn’t and they asked could we return the next day and I informed them that I couldn’t because I had to work. I took pictures and sent to my brother who lives in the area and he showed them the pictures and still wanted me to bring the bad seafood back so they could see it in person. The matter was not settled and that’s $34 wasted.
