Atmosphere nice and I felt comfortable. Do note that you have to pay via QR code on the table when you are done. I did not mind at all but it’s worth mentioning.
My food itself (Smash Burger) was average at best. Nothing stood out in terms of flavor or presentation, and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than those at other restaurants in the same airport for similar prices.
Given the wide variety of dining options available in the St. Louis airport, there are definitely better choices. If you’re connecting through St. Louis and looking for a meal, I would recommend trying one of the other restaurants instead.
When my to go order was ready, the drink I ordered was not in stock. The bartender/cashier refused to refund me for the beverage I payed for and they did not have a similar alternative. He became hostile when I asked for the refund and did not explain why i couldn’t get a refund. He just said they did not do that.
Finally, the sauce on my burger tasted a bit off. Very salty.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a very bad experience.
St. Louis Lambert International Airport has one of the worst food options I’ve ever been to in terms of cuisine and a healthy diet and this restaurant was kind of our last resort.
Lobster Bisque 3.5/5
Flavorful and had a good balance of lobster and
creaminess but lacked dimension and had very little lobster bits. Almost like a heated up good can of lobster bisque. I was given a small plastic spoon for the soup whereas I got a metal fork and knife for my chicken wrap ♂️
Buffalo Chicken Wrap 3/5
Fries were good but chicken wrap came out greasy with too much buffalo sauce and being a little too sour and spicy that you couldn’t taste the chicken.
Price per person: …
I ordered a burrito for $12, and there couldn’t have been more than a teaspoon of chorizo or egg in the whole thing, plus a pinch of cheese. Burrito was burnt and mostly tortilla. Pics of the fattest part below. I’m flight crew, so I pass through often, but I’ll stick to shake shack from now on for quality and value. I only ate about 1/3 of it before taking pictures to post this review.
food, quality is good and service is quick and kind
