We stepped into this restaurant on the final day of our vacation and I’m so glad we did! Never have I had a Monte Cristo before, but I’m glad my significant other ordered it and that theirs was my first ever! As a half-Cuban from Florida I felt inclined to order the Cuban Sandwich and compare it to my previous sandwiches from Miami (the real deal), and it did not disappoint! The ingredients were absolutely solid! The owner was very kind and even told us how to make the Monte Cristo, for which I plan to try to reproduce the day after Thanksgiving. Their tomato soup was very hearty and left me feeling like I had done something good for my body.

Three Bird Café is a charming, cheerful spot in Eureka Springs that feels like a breath of fresh air — definitely the kind of spot that lifts your spirits the moment you walk in. The space radiates innocence and joy, with rainbow colors, uplifting quotes, and a lighthearted energy that makes it feel like a happy, welcoming retreat. Our waitress was warm and upbeat, adding to the positive experience.

The food was healthy, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The full-sized smoked beet salad was a standout—absolutely delicious and impressively generous. The mandarin ginger dressing I got with it, in particular, was a standout—bright, tangy, and totally crave-worthy. Everything we tried was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the perfect place when you’re craving something lighter and more nourishing than the typical heavier fare around town, and we appreciated the range of vegan and vegetarian options. Next time we might also try some of the enticing pastries, cookies, cakes and muffins on display as well.

That said, there were a few inconsistencies in portion sizes and pricing. The menu notes that half-sized salads are now available by popular demand, but the one my husband received was more like a quarter-sized portion—closer to a small side salad. Clearer menu descriptions or adjusted sizing would help set better expectations. The biggest disappointment, however, was the $5 chicken add-ons for our salads: while the chicken was tasty, the portion—barely a quarter cup of chopped thighs—felt surprisingly small for the price. It left us feeling a bit shocked and taken advantage of, and we hope this feedback encourages the café to revisit the portioning, pricing, and value of their protein add-ons. Still, we truly enjoyed the overall experience, heartily support this charming cafe and would happily return. With just a few thoughtful adjustments, this café could go from great to exceptional.

Nice cute breakfast/brunch place. Food was very good. Service varied by server, ours seemed a little rushed. Atmosphere was nicely decorated by local artists. Had the chocolate croissant, biscuit Sammy, and BLTA

Absolutely phenomenal food — no doubt it’s all scratch made! My wife is a self-proclaimed grit snob and said they were soooo good. I don’t even like grits and somehow… I liked them. Enough said. 3 Bird Cafe crushed it! Also don’t judge based anything based on my picture. I was to in tune with eating rather than the “perfect” pic….. Also good coffee.

Incredible meal! My grandma and I stopped through here for sandwiches and ordered the BLT and vegan sandwiches. They were fresh and delicious, especially the vegan sandwich. I’d never had anything so good, 10/10 do recommend! Friendly people, amazing atmosphere, don’t miss it!

We found this place, and were drawn to the eclectic menu. In the next few days, we ate there two more times, to try all the dishes! We ordered the stuffed apricots and deviled eggs every time! So good. Definitely on our hit list for our next visit!

We had such a great experience here! We came for a quick lunch and were pleasantly impressed with the great food that comes out of that kitchen. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is ordered through their QR code/website, the food was delicious and came out quickly. Everything tasted fresh and made with love. Definitely a place we wish was closer to home! You won’t regret coming here.

Everything is amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and the food is wonderful, we had such a great experience here! We came in the day before Thanksgiving looking for some vegan options and were overwhelmed with the options. The seasonal pasta salad and butternut apple soup were to die for. I had to order a second apple cider mimosa because it was that good. I ended up deciding on the vegan BLTA and I did not regret it. After all that, I ended it all with the vegan pumpkin pie and I don’t think I could’ve eaten another bite. I will stop by here whenever I come back to Eureka Springs!

Cute cafe, friendly staff and OMG the food is wonderful. The menu has vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. I now have to hit another hiking trail to work off the Pina colada cake.

First time here and was impressed with all the options for different dietary needs. We tried the Eureka Springs Bowl, Lady Lumberjack burrito, a waffle, and a slice of apple fritter bread. The bowl was definitely the favorite (chose gravy and ham). The potatoes were perfectly cooked, all the flavors melded together beautifully and everything had good seasoning. Husband loved the burrito (and ate it all before I thought to try it haha). The waffle and bread were okay, but not something we would probably order again. Service was exceptional and everyone was very helpful! I could see parking being somewhat of an issue if the place was packed, but we didn’t have trouble finding a spot since it was late morning. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving them a try and would absolutely say try the Eureka Springs Bowl!
