I heard great things about this food & place only to be highly disappointed. I spent $98 for me & my assistant to eat well. We are not from here so we was excited to find some food we can eat on all day while we work. We ordered a wing meal & chicken dinner. Mind you 2 sides each which include Mac n cheese, cornbread, collard greens, & yams (sweet potatoes). Highly disappointed only to receive meat plates with no sides. Then I call the establishment for the to tell me to call uber eats. The customer service unaccommodating. I don’t play about my food & will spend for it (clearly). This was beyond the worse experience.

I don’t normally write reviews but this is a must. I ordered the $10.00 2 pc chicken with mac & cheese. When I got home, I was surprised to have 2 pieces of EXTREMELY DRY chicken. I was so upset that I immediately came to write this review. That’s how upset & embarrassingly disappointed I was.
I was expecting not only a delicious plate of food, but at least average quality. Maybe, I was expecting more from a black owned business. I’m disappointed because I belived that this business was a great representation of our culture. They have let me down. This is sadly embarrassing for our culture. The server should have not given that chicken to any customer. It should have been put in the trash long before I arrived.
The worst part is, I was too exhausted to go back to complain and really didn’t want to argue about it. I will never return to any of these store. I wasted my time & money. I’m truly hurt about this. We have to do better. Please! Please!

I’ve been here & other locations quite a few times & my experience’s have been good. My order was wrong one time & a couple times I had to wait a long time but for the most part they always have what I want & I get in & out in a good time. I use to get the smothered pork chops they were really good but then I became a pescatarian now I mainly get Salmon or Catfish which are really good too & they cook it fresh so you get it straight off the grill. The staff is welcoming but they have those days sometimes but it’s a good soul food place & the prices are expected.

I ordered a veggie plate.. Macaroni which is so nasty&tasteless with potato salad and green beans..the beans was just poured out the can not a hint of nothing on them just gross.. I see why no one pulls up there.Even the corn muffin was awful

Anna had a very positive attitude even though she was swamped with customers on 10/21/2025. She provided the best customer service I’ve ever had there. She always has the best attitude. You guys should hire more people like her.

I love coming here for a taste of soul food. My favorite is the ribs fall off the bone paired with greens and macaroni. The peach cobbler is amazing and I love the peach lemonade. The service is always quick and easy. The establishment is clean and customer service is good.

My husband bought chitterlings from here yesterday. They were nasty. I’m pretty sure they went from the bucket to the pot. They should be ashamed of themselves selling some mess like that. If you’re not going to properly clean the chitterlings then don’t sell them. You can make somebody really sick or even worse.

1 star for service because the cashier had an attitude with everyone. The staff, customers, and people who called in were not exempt from her attitude. Other than that, the other staff had great customer service and the food tasted better than the last time I was there and I was happy with the food then so I was really happy last night. The 2 for $35 deal was perfect for my family.

Maybe I should have read the reviews first. This place has fell off. I got a rib tip dinner and bone in ribs. Also has the Mac & cheese and collard greens. Meat a NO SEASONING without the sauce it’s just meat no flavor. Mac & cheese tastes weird and was watered down. Greens just made me throw the whole plate away.
