THIS AIN’T IT!!! I ordered friend chicken- BURNED and tase like fish grease! The potato salad looked like cornbread batter with potatoes yall!! And tasted like CRAP!! I live all the way in Duluth, passed a few of my favorite soul food places to come to this MESS ! It needs to be closed Down!! They forgot to give me my juice. It was all just disgusting. Very disappointed pay $200 for 8 pounds of chitlins for Thanksgiving, Drove a hour and 10 minutes one way to pick Them up and finding out that they are not cleaned properly . , I always add more seasoning to mine so I re-cook them With additional seasonings. imagine My disgust When I realize that these chitlins are not clean!!! I’m seeing multiple things in my chitlins that should not be there. I’ve cleaned chitlins many many times before so I know that all of the stuff I’m finding should’ve been taken off in the cleaning process. Been calling the restaurant for the past hour and get the voicemail with a message that is full. I would like to speak to somebody please regarding a full refund and also I would think this would be a health hazard. As we all know what chitlins are and come from, and they need to be thoroughly clean, which these are not!!!! You are not properly cleaning your chitlins and I certainly cannot serve this to my guest!! Do better!!!!

So me and my family were visiting Atlanta and decided to eat at This Is It. As soon as we walked in the hospitality started off great. We were greeted and not rushed into our order. Now the food was just amazing. Everything was fresh. I had the rib tips, yams, Mac, greens, fried chicken, and cornbread. Everything was just good. Like it was truly a southern meal experience. And on top of all that, who I believe was the boss of the joint, gave us complimentary fried fish and that was also a 10/10. I never had fried fish like that in my 23 years living. The atmosphere was also great they had good music on and the workers vibes were chill and on point. Come here!!! THIS IS IT lol.

Now this food look amazing but the taste seem water down…I think they need to say 40percent less sodium…..the food do not taste good as much as it look. I did like the greens….stuff need more taste and season but if you like stuff less taste you love it. To high too for less taste

Listen… This Is It really showed out today. I ordered the 2-piece whiting with fries, and when I tell you that fish was flaky, seasoned just right, and straight-up delicious? Somebody’s mama needs to be slapped for cooking like that! The fries were hot and crispy — no soggy pieces in sight.
But let me talk about that Japanese sweet potato pie for a second. Made with agave, no butter, no flour, and somehow still creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Not too sweet, not too heavy — just that warm, comforting flavor that sneaks up on you and makes you close your eyes. Whoever made that pie… bless their hands.
Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of love. If you haven’t been to This Is It, you’re missing out. I’ll definitely be back, bet that!

I always have a good experience at This Is It no matter which one I dine at. The person taking my order is always courteous and kind and patient. The person is at the cash register are the same. Even though I know it is hard working with the public. They are consistently patient. I get the feeling that they enjoy working here. Today I spoke with Geneva. I told her that I had always noticed that she was taking care of business every time I came in to the restaurant and she always had a smile. I’m sure her colleagues appreciate this. I sure do. It seems like the employees are well taken care of and that they take care of each other. It’s a pleasure to be a patron of This Is It restaurant for years and years.

Room for improvement. The salmon was overcooked and barely seasoned, the dressing was dry and flavorless, and they messed up my order. Rating it a 3 only because I was able to keep the extra wrong food. They used to be really good years ago. The Mac n cheese and the whipped sweet potato were the best items on my plate. Ordering was a bit confusing. Too many menus to look at. I gave up and just looked at the food in front of me in the buffet line and picked something… I ordered a 3 veggie plate, a salmon dinner, and dessert for $40, after tax, before tip.

I ordered bbq chicken quarter over rice, potato salad & Green beans with potatoes or should I say Potatoes with Green beans in them. Way too many potatoes in the Beans. The chicken tasted funny so I eat a little more & it was freezer burned so I took it back & got smothered pork chops instead to go. I started eating the Pork Chops & kept chewing something hard. I discovered the rice wasn’t cooked. The Pork Chop had no seasoning except the smothered onion gravy with no seasoning. I am way past disappointed with this store. I want my money back because the food was lousy!!
