Fantastic burger, incredibly quaint and charming diner. Such a lovely group of people that run the restaurant too. Their dog loves to play fetch with you, if you’re up for it.

Great stop right before we crossed the border into Canada. Friendly staff and great strawberry-rhubarb pie (a la mode of course). Just the first of many great stops on our trip up the Alcan. Thanks for greeting two excited travelers from the east coast!

They live up to being the, “best burgers south of the border.” Always worth the drive for great food and good company. Locals know to get there an hour before closing and not on a Monday or Tuesday. (You’ll find the door locked.) Be sure to save room for dessert!

Great burger and pie with plenty of Alaskan character and a view – binoculars provided. New outdoor deck and bar space.

Great food & service, and a nice stop before/after the border crossing. I ate there driving north from Haines. There’s lodging options as well, though I didn’t stay.

Called on 2 separate occasions to try and arrange snowmobile rentals since there’s no website or anything. Was not helped either time.

We stopped after crossing the border and amazed by the friendly greeting. They are a busy little cafe and can get it done. Kudos to the Staff at Thirty Three Mile Roadhouse!

You must stop there for a meal if you’re ever in the area! Fabulous, delicious home cooked meals, great service. We ate there a couple of times last year. A year later, the lady who served us then remembered us! That is such a feel good feeling.
Awesome home fries! The tastiest eggs I’ve had in a long time. Incredible desserts!
The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and friendly. There’s also some neat surprises to peek your interest while dining. Loads of conversation pieces…
And if you love dogs, be mindful of the house dog… If you throw the stick once, you’re in it for at least an hour… And he will remember you whenever you come back

Great location outside of town. Fun road trip pit stop on your way to/from town, or even just for a memorable meal. Food and service were both amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Can even purchase gas here, if needed.
