Came here for dinner with my brother and his family. The server didn’t greet me when I walked up or sat down. A “Hello, I’ll be right with you” takes but a moment. I sat myself as the sign indicated. The server passed my table several times and didn’t say anything. Maybe this is the culture at this establishment. When I approached her 10 minutes later she was friendly. She warned me that there would be a 20 minute wait on service. She didn’t specify why but I assume it’s because they were short-staffed. I appreciated the caution, however delayed, but tables should at least be greeted for this exact reason–so we know what to expect. I think even giving new tables menus to peruse and/or drinks would foster a little more patience out of diners. Luckily, my brother was late so the wait wasn’t an issue for him and his hungry kids. Once our food order was in, everything came out quickly.

Cross over at the light, as you come down off Massanutten mountain, There is a wonderful collection of small restaurants/businesses. What makes Village of the valley so unique is it’s adorable, white, covered outdoor common area , which connects five of the small business buildings. (No alcohol in this area please, according to signs).

Don’t go, not worth the wait. Terrible food. First, it took over an hour for a chicken burger and 2 orders of 12 piece boneless chicken, and 3 kids Mac n cheese. Clearly not the servers fault, but if ppl have kids, maybe let them know it’ll take a while.

This place was awesome. I wish I would have found it sooner. Dine outside so winter visitors should prepare for that. Still well worth it though.

This is a new restaurant, and we loved it! It is located in a little boardwalk style plaza with several other businesses. Parking was easy, and it shared a parking lot with the other places. It is outdoor seating only that I could see, so plan on getting take out if the weather isn’t great. The view is gorgeous there. Wait staff was friendly, and the bathrooms and area were clean. Their alcohol licensing was pending so we didn’t get to sample any alcoholic beverages. The food was amazing though. Their curly fries were served with every burger and hit the spot. I got the Burg, which was a bit heavy of a sandwich (I knew it would be going into it so I’m not upset). I almost wish it would’ve had something spicy on it or more fresh components to give some relief. The everything bagel was an interesting and unique concept that I enjoyed over a traditional bun. My dad got the same burger but requested a regular bun and said he also felt it was a bit too heavy. My mom got the North fork and said she was surprised but really enjoyed the pineapple on the burger, and the sweet chili sauce was spectacular. My fiance got the Yorktown and said the caramelized onions were really good, but he wishes there would’ve been more of them and the mushrooms overall. He also said it was a bit too greasy for his liking. We all agreed that the burgers were slightly overcooked for our preference, but the burgers were still juicy and not dry so we didn’t mind. My only complaint is that we waited an hour for our food. We were seated immediately and ordered right away, but there were so many takeout orders and only 2 employees in the kitchen. If you plan on eating there, try to go at an off-peak time or just be aware you could be waiting a long time. I can forgive them though because the food was so good. We all cleaned our plates in less than 15 minutes.

Came for lunch, no drinks but it’s an adorable spot that I would return to to watch a game and have some drinks. The breakfast burger and hot chicken sandwich were great. The hot chicken could use a sauce though, it was just a tad too dry with breaded chicken and breaded fried pickles (I love pickles! Perhaps they don’t also need to be fried?) But absolutely no changes to the burger, it was phenomenal.

Delicious! My husband got the Parkway burger and I got a shrimp quesadilla. The quesadilla was a lot larger than I’d expected and couldn’t finish it. My husband happily helped me finish it.

My girlfriend says this was the best Buffalo chicken wrap she’s ever had. I’ll have to take her word for it since she didn’t leave a scrap of leftovers for me to try! Curly fries and the wings were on point (nice and crispy, but not dried out). I had the Yorktown angus burger which was excellent…nice and juicy…seasoning wasn’t over done. The seating area is pretty fun…especially if a nice day. Family friendly (fun little table games all over the place and an ice cream spot next door), but has a full bar.

Great burgers and wings. Mixed drinks are good. Friendly staff. The owner is great. If they are busy, you will probably have to wait on your food as the kitchen is only so big and they can only prepare so many burgers at a time. Food is definitely worth the wait!!!!

NICOLE was an absolute gem . She provided a great experience, and the burger/curly fries were great. Nicole recommended the house dressing for the fries, and it was .
