This place is a man cool! So many TVs with a variety of sports / entertainment. Waitresses and bartenders were polite and the food is delicious! I can’t wait to go back when the added sports room opens. You can place all your bets in this place on a napkin. There is a cool bowling alley attached to the restaurant also. All of this is less than 10 minutes from Cedar Point amusement park and Sports Force Park.

The wings are nasty. They’re like boneless wings with bones. Aka chicken nuggets with bones. I’m s sad. They have great sauce, but why, why are you breading your wings??? If I wanted chicken fingers I’d get chicken fingers. But no one wants a bone in a chicken finger. Nasty pile of deep fried saucy breading. Very disappointing. We waited so long for our check, I went up and asked the host for our check. He disappeared and about 5 minutes later our waitress came and asked us if we wanted boxes. Still no check.

GET THE CHICKEN WINGS & PRETZEL! The dry rub was the best options as the honey garlic wings were so greasy they were un edible. The pretzel was really soft on the instead and had a good crust – the cheese needed to either be heated up more or just stirred before serving. We ordered the pretzel and wings together and they came out super quick – a lot of business for a Tuesday night and the wait staff running around to accommodate.

This was our very first visit and overall everything was great! I only gave 4 out of 5 stars for service because our waitress never came back to check on us after our food was delivered to our table and she forgot to bring me the water that I asked for after I finished my margarita. (My husband eventually just went to the bar and asked the bartender for a water and she was happy to oblige.) They were busy and I understood that she’s only human afterall. We ordered the burnt ends for a starter. They were delicious! As were the cluck cluck burgers we ordered for our entrees. The mango margarita was excellent too! After we ate, we strapped on a pair of bowling shoes and threw a few games of 10 pin at Cedar Downs. Afterwards we chatted with the two gentlemen working the counter. They were both friendly and willing to give us a quick tour of the new addition being added to the old water park area. Randy gave us a free Buckin Mule t-shirt before we left. It made my whole day! What a sweetheart! Thanks, Randy!!

OTB with food. I won’t say diner food since that would be insulting to the good mom and pop diners out there. The entire name is “The thirsty pony and drunken Donkey.” I should have known when the hostess audibly popped her gum as she gestured to the booth we were to take that it wasn’t going to be a stellar experience. Our waitress was friendly and courteous, so no faults there. Food service was extremely slow (we waited probably 40 minutes for service for four with no special requests and no appetizers (burger, meatball sub, nachos, and kids Mac n cheese). And the place was NOT busy at all (Wednesday evening) Overall the food was cooked properly and hot, but just “meh.” We didn’t finish our meals and no one wanted boxes to take home. I will admit The kids Mac n cheese was pretty tasty, but the portion size was definitely small (my 6 year old was content but if you have a hungry 10 year old, they’ll probably still be hungry). My daughter did like her fruit punch style drink with the gummy worms. They also did a nice job with the deep fried dill pickle that came with the entrees. Atmosphere- I’m not sure why it’s advertised as a kids and family restaurant when it’s basically a sports bar with a 6 item kids menu. You can buy a giant souvenir drink cup of the leg lamp from “A Christmas Story” but my kids didn’t even get the reference (despite being quite familiar with the movie). They had a pretty large liquor menu so If you’re looking for a place to go with your drinking buddies and okay food, this place will suit, but if you’re looking for a more family atmosphere, I would go somewhere else. Restaurant overall seemed clean but we didn’t use the restrooms to give feedback there.

Went here for dinner and should’ve left after the first red flag but was tired, hungry and didn’t feel like searching for another option after I ordered my drinks. Got the menus and they felt very dirty and our table was also dirty when we were seated and all they did was wipe the crumbs onto the floor with their hands and asked what we wanted for drinks. The prices were absolutely atrocious. $24 for a large cheese pizza and $15 for a subpar burger which also wasn’t cooked to the medium rare I asked for. Meal comes with coleslaw and chips and when the waitress took my order asked if I’d like chips, tots, fries or waffle fries and failed to state is was an extra $2 which I found out when I got the check. I ordered tots and was served fries, told the waitress and it took almost 10 minutes for the tots to get brought out. The menu never started my burger was served on a pretzel bun either and had I known that I would’ve asked for a regular bun since I don’t like pretzel buns. The cup my wife got served with was dirty. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend a lot of money for blah food.

Today August 23, 2023, I sat in a booth with my friend Theresa, we were greeted by Adrianna with a big smile and nice words immediately as we were seated. I told her exactly what I wanted before I looked at a menu. As Theresa sat down, she looked over the menu and decided on her choices. Theresa got a meatball sandwich and I got the perch dinner. We both enjoyed them very much along with Adrianna”s excellent charm.
