Server was MIA the entire meal. Arnold Palmer was only filled up once, 35 minutes into the meal once we flagged someone down.
We ordered our kids meal immediately upon sitting down but didn’t get it for 27 minutes. Upon time we were finally able to order our food. Took another 32 minutes to get our food. The table next to us was there with empty water glasses for at least 35 minutes without food.
The kids Mac and cheese was good.
The kids sliders were very tasty and enjoyable.
The fries and ranch were eh.
The bacon club sandwich was a huge disappointment. Somehow they managed to ruin bacon. It was sickly sweet and thick in a tough to eat kind of way. My husband took the bacon off.
The fish was decent. Small and had far too much under cooked breading in it. But the tartar sauce was good. Surprisingly the best thing we had was the cole slaw. My husband who hates cole slaw agreed it was the best thing on the table.
$70 for two kids meals, a sandwich, and entree is a bit ridiculous.
Ultimately, the horrid service, empty restaurant, long wait, and multiple other frustrated tables made for an awful experience. We will not be back.
Service was a solid 4 Star. We were seated fast, our food came at a reasonable time, but we never received the Beer Sampler my wife ordered. The waitresses were friendly and kind. We had to ask for more water which whe. We did it came rightful.
The atmosphere was a solid five. Loved the music, the bar in the middle of the dining room, and the overall lay out of the restaurant did feel too cluttered. This would be an awsome sports bar to go to for games like baseball or football.
We will definitely visit again next time were in the Phoenix area.
If I like a restaurant I tell everyone I know!!
Visited the Thirsty Lion at this location and was genuinely impressed. You can tell this place is well-funded and well-run just from the atmosphere and attention to detail.
I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Celina, who was professional, attentive, and on point. I ordered a clam chowder bowl, which was excellent—rich, flavorful, and served hot. I also tried the garlic sesame edamame, and it did not disappoint. Great flavor and a solid appetizer choice.
Between the food quality, service, and overall appearance of the restaurant, this location clearly operates at a high standard. Definitely a spot I’d return to
