Great atmosphere, food presentation is great but flavor didn’t match the visual appeal. Shrimp and grits were okay, the grits were pretty lumpy and crunchy? Did not like my Bloody Mary- the mix had a very unusual flavor.

We have visited the NSB area twice now and always love Third Wave. It is worth the wait. Food and drinks are amazing. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Seafood is delicious and perfectly cooked. Bartenders are attentive and helpful. We come here more than once per visit to the area.

My wife and I went to Third Wave for Sunday brunch.
I had a Bloody Mary and my wife had coffee. The Bloody Mary was so-so. The coffee was good.
My wife had the Classic Breakfast with grilled chicken. She really enjoyed it.
I had the Rock Shrimp Scramble with Chorizo. The shrimp could have been done more but it was still good.
I love the outdoor, pet friendly patio. So did our Maltese.
Service was very good.
We need to try dinner.

Excellent dining in NSB! This is our favorite “special dining” restaurant in New Smyrna Beach. We were celebrating a birthday and enjoyed the seafood ambrosia and scallops over very tasty risotto. Their fish dip is excellent, with freshness that most places don’t match! When I got home I saw someone had posted about their French onion soup…will be back to try soon! Ty Third Wave for the high standards in culinary offerings!

So good! Service was fast and friendly; the place was packed for a Thursday night! Our waitress was quick to get our order and checked on us while we were eating. Maybe waited 10-15 minutes for our food. Everything was great! I had a personal pizza, the Spanish Country Farm Girl and my fiancé had the smashburger. Honestly, this has been the BEST pizza I’ve ever had in a LONGGGG time. It was so good, I’m going to be having dreams about that pizza. We sat outside, and the area was so adorable with the patio furniture, the lights, and all the greenery made it feel very open and welcoming. A place I definitely would come back to and hopefully try their breakfast/brunch when I can!

What a great spot! We were visiting NSB for a few days and a waiter from another restaurant recommended Third Wave and after our meal we could see why. I decided on the Sammy sandwich with tomato basil soup. Ok that sandwich was mind blowingly delicious. For real it was just perfect. The soup was amazing as well. My husband got the Steak and eggs and devoured it all. Very tasty. Third Wave is currently undergoing some construction so it doesn’t look open but it is! Super pretty patio. Definitely don’t miss this spot!

This place had some of the best potatoes I’ve ever tasted, they were delicious! They were perfectly seasoned with onions, peppers, & corn. The steak was slightly over cooked than I prefer but I still enjoyed it.
I enjoyed everything here so much I visited twice while in the area.
The second time I tried the shrimp & grits, also delicious! The coffee here is great as well!
