Excellent surf and turf menu with a fantastic selection of drinks. Service was definitely subpar due to the wait times to order and the general inattentiveness of the wait staff. Food was excellent and came out reasonably fast once we got our orders in. Great place for a high end date or special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary.

I’ve been here a couple of times. This time was truly disappointing. Went for father’s day. We ordered the truffle fries, tuna sandwich, and shrimp tacos. Fries looked good, but there was so much salt in the truffle seasoning it was like eating a salt lick. Those with blood pressure problems stay away. The entrees came. The presentation was lacking. The tacos had some sauce on the tortillas, then 3 shrimps, and looked like steamed corn just dropped on it. I could taste the shrimp only but no seasoning. The sauce and corn salsa had no taste. The corn tasted like frozen corn thawed out. It was as very disappointing. The tuna sandwich with Caesar salad didn’t have much better presentation. No flavor for either the sandwich or salad. The Caesar salad had a sliver of a piece of fish as garnish which was out of place. You could see the dressing but it had no flavor as if it was diluted. You could taste the romaine lettuce and even the Parmesan cheese didn’t have flavor but the texture threw off eating it. I don’t think I’ll be going back. It was as truly disappointing especially going out on Father’s Day with reservations only seating.

My wife and I have been here twice, and we were impressed with the food and atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to go for a special occasion or if you want quality seafood. I recommend getting the crab dip and lobster tail, as they are phenomenal. Save room for dessert, as you will not be disappointed.

From the food to the service everything was fantastic! Their happy hour menu is a great deal, I tried a cosmopolitan and omg it was amazing and they did not skimp on the alcohol like most establishments do.The steamed oysters were amazing according to my Fiancé (I’m not an oyster fan) they were nice and plump looking.Then for their regular dinner menu we ordered the ribs and seafood potstickers, the ribs were a little spicy for me but the potstickers were amazing, highly recommend you try them!
Their sirloin steak and fries were amazing, the steak melted in your mouth and comes out sliced which was a nice touch.
I had the shrimp pasta and omg it was amazing, the linguine melts in your mouth and the sauce is bursting with flavor!
We finished up with the cream brûlée and as always it was perfect!
Taylor was our waitress tonight and did an excellent job 🙂

Been here a few times on various vacations. Only ever had one meal that was a little bit better than ok. But last night’s Blackened Tuna sandwich was the worse! Thin as a Thin Mint and didn’t even cover the bun! Asked for extra blackening and got none! And whatever veggies they put on top were barely good. Side salad was nice but came with no dressing, had to ask 2 x’s b4 I got it. Bartenders were gone most of the time from behind the bar and when they were there they weren’t very attentive. Oh and when you pay for bread, if you don’t ask for butter you don’t get any!
Definitely won’t be going back again!

Management has been very responsive and that is admirable in and of itself. Possibly when back in the area, I might give it another try for this reason alone.

To set the stage, we went to the restaurant during Restaurant Week. So the menu was limited, but their were a lot of choices. My date and I went to dinner around 630pm 7pm, though we had set a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived, the place was busy, and there did not seem to be a wait. When we told the hostess about our reservation, she immediately told us they were missing staff and to be patient. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited for our table. Immediately, we noticed that to talk in this restaurant required a significant increase in volume. Also, the bartender introduced herself and shared that they were short-handed. We proceed to wait for a chance to get a drink… but that never comes until we are sitting at our table. Waitress was pleasant but almost had a robotic pleasantness that was off-putting. The drinks we ordered were great. While we were talking, my date and I noticed that there were fruit flies buzzing around, indicating that perhaps we were closer to the kitchen. Looking above our table, the wall decorations were covered in dust. Watching the staff work, they seemed fatigued and highly stressed. The food was good, but not wow material. All in all, we are glad we at least knew that part of the money goes to charity. Sadly, I will not be going back to try it again, however. Also, my date made the reservation and mentioned in it that it was our anniversary, but nothing was done or even said to congratulate us. If you are not going to do anything, then why ask on the reservation? Still, perhaps if you visit on a non restaurant week, the experience could be better.

I was a little disappointed not getting to try the Emporer’s Old Fasioned cocktail, but I was very appreciative of our server Taylor on her level of communication, and she more than made up for it with her service. I hope she gets to a chance to see that me and my wife were appreciative of her hard work. My steak was excellent, and my wife’s lobster was delicious however brief a lobster tail can be in terms of enjoyment. Its never quite big enough is it…? (IYKYK) My wife’s tiramisu dessert margarita was delicious. The crab cake was a little burned at the bottom, and pot stickers were also a little burned, but I’m a realist. The servers didn’t cook this. I could tell all of your service team was working hard this evening, and I hope their manager, and even as far as ownership knows that they don’t have a lazy team in an area that I can personally describe as what I believe is a demanding clientele. I’ve been a patron at both locations in downtown and in Midlothian. I’m still going to tip my hat in favor of the downtown location as it has a better atmosphere with its aesthetics, and the food wasn’t burned, but despite whatever shortcomings, me and my wife enjoyed our time being served by your staff and I look forward to our next meal! Thanks again for your hard work, and Happy Halloween

We had lobster and steak and lobster and crab cake. Lobster was cooked correctly and very good. Steak was very flavorful for a seafood place. The crab cake was good but if you are from Maryland don’t get it you will be mad. Overall will eat here again.
