Visited for lunch (first time there). Ordered 10-inch Second City pizza (jalapenos added). Cook while you wait, done in about 12 minutes. Excellent pizza, fresh and crispy crust, toppings were fresh and excellent, and sauce was very fresh and light tomato flavor. Could not finish the entire pizza. Very impressed and want to make this a lunch regular. They were out of vienna beef so no Chicago dogs. Will try later. They could use a drink fountain though, in my opinion.

This place is great! I’m so glad I found it! Chicago style deep dish is to die for! It takes awhile to cook. And they warn you about that upfront. But it’s so worth the wait! If you’re in a hurry, I bet you could call ahead even if you planned to dine in. We ordered “The Second City” as a deep dish. We substituted the green peppers for the sport peppers. It was perfection! The chef said he could do any of the pizza’s as a deep dish version as long as it had the red pizza sauce. (In other words, none of the alfredo based options for deep dish.) Even the leftovers heated up perfectly. The crust is just the right amount of crunch. Couldn’t be happier with this place! I can’t wait to come back to try the sandwiches & all of the other pizza options!

Had an original pepperoni. Standard pizza but everything was as fresh as it gets which made for one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Reminds me a bit of pizza shoppe but with a more substantial crust. Buffalo wings were also really good. Will definitely be back whenever we’re in the area.

Drove 45 minutes just to eat here and it was well worth it. Stared off with the best caeser salad I think I’ve ever had, we got the 10 inch My Kind of Town deep dish, it was just as good as the famous places in Chicago. 2 salads, a pizza with plenty of left overs and tip (waters to drink) for under 30 dollars, great value.

I found this place while driving around hungry and noticed a picture of pizza Chicago style. I’m from Chicago, and know a pizza place is more authentic if they use their own recipes. I tried an Italian Beef sandwich, normally I wouldn’t get giardiniera on it but it’s his own giardiniera which is far better than any I’ve tried in Chicago! I tried a thin crust single, and I brought home a deep dish-take n finish bake for dinner. It was delicious and even better the next day like truly great pizza is. Definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying the Chicago hotdog soon!
