Went for brunch on Saturday. I had the park scrambler and my husband had the Dallas cowboys tacos. Both were really good. My only complaint is they need to deep clean the ladies restroom. Shoes were sticking to the floor.

Thinking Man is one of my weekly go-to spots! Service is always top notch and the menu offers something for everyone. While I like to switch things up, I have a hard time not ordering the Tuscan Chicken sandwich almost every time. Hands down one of the best sandwiches. They have a wide selection of beer and cocktails. Happy Hour is a must. They also have fun events throughout the week like team trivia, karaoke and live music. I highly recommend giving this place a visit, the vibe is always a fun.

Looking for a down to earth, old school, earthy comfortable bar in the heart of Decatur.. .. u gots it .
Gets a bit loud at times later at night, and still holds on to that friendly family vibe, you don’t see anymore in Decatur.
Their beguiling beer/tap menu is bout 4 pages long by itself. The friendly informed barkeeps (EMMA & Davey ) are more than happy to guide you thru the choices and give an intelligent recommendation.

I always gets one of their plethora of stouts, with their soup o day, Veggie Empanadas, & the vicious Deviled Eggs / Spicy Fried Pickles. Yum.
Locals and regulars are always there and friendly & kind. Easy Parking, lot at TMT. Made a friend at this place.

Great food, good drinks, and fun trivia! Me and my friends came here on a Tuesday for some trivia and had a blast. We got the chicken nachos and bavarian pretzels to share and both were excellent. If we came back, we would definitely order those again. The trivia was fun, but it was pretty slow since it was just one person reading out the questions and calculating the score. 20 questions for trivia ended up being almost 3 hours… :/
Might try somewhere else for trivia next time, but I’m still happy for the experience.

The place have great potential. !!!!!!! The food is great service is good BUUUUUUT the sound system is catastrophically bad!!!! We came Saturday for a live band and we don’t know if there were good or not because the sound system is sooooo bad!!!! We tried again on Friday for karaoke and it was worse!!!! The DJ WAS TRYING TO improve the sound but could not because the house system is terrible!!!!

This was my first visit to this tavern and it was nothing short of amazing! We came here specifically for Atlanta burger week and their burger did not disappoint! The cheese was so melty! I got a side of tots and my husband got the potato rounds. Both were great but I preferred the tots! This place seems to have some great specials throughout the week. We also loved the vibe of the tavern!

Recently visited for lunch and was really impressed! It’s hard to find good vegetarian/vegan stuff in the area that isn’t just some variation of a veggie burger, but at Thinking Man we ordered these really tasty tofu sliders and buffalo cauliflower and both were excellent and came in large portions for cheaper than we’ve spent elsewhere for lunch. Even at lunch time in the middle of the week, the bartender/server was very friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Thinking Man is a bit of a dive, but we really like the vibe. We have not had the food. I am writing this review bc of the digestif menu. It’s so lovely and has many choices. They have a house fernet and amaro which are excellent, and so affordable. Finding places placing any focus on digestifs is rare and Thinking Man is knocking it out of the park.
