I came here on a Tuesday night and the dance floor was popping! Beautiful to see my people dancing and enjoying themselves. Very rich culture!

As soon as I got to Thibodeaux’s, the staff welcomed us,
Food was served hot. The shrimp and fish were juicy, well seasoned, and crispy. The fish was fried to perfection, but I felt it could have used a little more seasoning on the fish itself, although I could taste the flavor in the batter.

This was my husband and I first time visiting this establishment, which was highly recommended by an associate we met during our trip to DFW.
Our waitress was attentive to our table, nice, patient, and very knowledgeable about their menu items.
The food was delicious, well seasoned, and delivered in a timely matter.
This is the first establishment we have ever visited were theres food, drinks, a DJ (who was hilarious by the way!), a live band, AND dancing! The restaurant got packed really fast and I understand why. I appreciated the crowd for the “Grown and Sexy” as we call it. The old school music, mixed with a little modern, had everyone on the dance floor all night.
My husband and I were visiting from West Texas and will definitely be returning the next time we are in town.

When you get there, you pay before you even get your food, so we couldn’t leave when our food took over an hour to get to us – we were some of the only people there. Boudin balls didn’t taste like boudin but more like hush puppies, gumbo roux tasted poor and pretty watery, the po boys were good but not seasoned well, and we were served our food by a cook because the owner complained to us that the server was late to work, she came dressed unprofessionally, and the 2 times she did come to the table, she wasn’t very helpful and was condescending when we left because my grandpa wanted a refill of his soda and she wanted to charge for it. Overall big bill for what we would’ve liked better at home.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Thibodeaux’s. I had a last minute family event and the wonderful staff was able to accommodate on a relatively short notice and provided excellent service and communication. I inquired through their website for a catering order and I was responded to within the hour. Mrs. Thibodeaux and her team were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. You can tell they take pride in providing the best service possible. The food was amazing, great quality and taste. For reference, I ordered several flavors of the fried wings, fried fish, fries, salad, and two large canisters of drinks. The restaurant has a more casual feel but to my understanding you are able to bring your decorations to change the vibe for your event. It definitely is large enough to host a good amount of people while also keeping your event separate from other patrons. The team was extremely attentive and I’m extremely impressed with the large quantity I ordered and their ability to deliver on short notice and for it to taste amazing. I cannot recommend Thibodeaux’s enough. I’ll definitely will be back and I’m excited to try other things on the menu.

Let’s just say this: the food was so good we forgot to take photos. I have been trying to visit this place for months. I have bad timing about when to dine and this place is often packed. This time I was lucky. Thursday night and surprise! It’s karaoke night. The MC and the DJ have amazing voices and really know how to work the room. Service was amazing, attentive and good for the recommendation. I will be back. I need to try more of this amazing menu and soon.

The food was delicious. Pleasantly surprised to find a Monday afternoon dance class going on. Service was absolutely disappointing. Had to request water 2 times while waiting for cocktails for 35 minutes. Young lady seemed overwhelmed stated bartender is also the cook. Did not understand how that affected water or machine held blue Hawaiians.
However the food and atmosphere where so good I will certainly try again. It was my daughter’s birthday and we ordered a smorgasbord, all food arrived at the table hot and delicious. Sadly gumbo and red beans and rice were served in Styrofoam containers, as was the water.
Lunch for two over $100.00 I wasn’t prepared for plasticware and stryofoam from pics advertising the establishment.

Today’s was my first time interacting with this restaurant. I’m from Louisiana and I had a taste for a good southern plate of red beans and rice. I was going to dine in but after asking for a sample or taste before I purchased to see what I should order and being treated as if I was a bother by the clerk I asked for take out. Trying to make conversation I asked what was good or really tasty. Her response was very nonchalant. I then asked what was in the beans for eight dollars. She stated, beef and pork. Y’all the beans had no seasoning. It tasted like beans poured straight out of a can with no meat. Needless to say I was disappointed.
