This has been our local restaurant since we live right behind it and have been here a number of times. I called for pickup and was put on hold for nearly 5 minutes. When someone finally returned I just told her the hold time was unacceptable. Her response was, “So do you want the food or not?” I told her that’s not an acceptable customer service response and after she told me how busy she was she hung up on me. I will drive down the street after this.

This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in San Juan County. The food is amazing. I got a shredded beef Chimichanga smothered in green chili. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything so good before!!

I’ve tried to give this restaurant a few tries. Everytime I’m disappointed by how much I paid with how little food I get. Got two burrito plates with, just egg and tortillas. No bacon or sausage like I requested. One burrito plate didn’t even have cheese as well.

Great place to eat. Its a cozy dining space with a small town vibe. The guacamole is the best in a 50 mile radius, trust me I’ve done the work. The green chili chicken tamales are amazing. I also recommend the chili reñallos, crispy. The best part about this place is the atmosphere. No complaints, the only reason I haven’t rated it higher than 4 stars is because I haven’t had the chance to try everything on the menu just yet but I suspect I will eventually. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere, highly recommended if you are traveling through because you’ll always remember the tamales no matter where the road takes you. Happy travels folks!

Very good Mexican food. Enchiladas were The best! The food portion wise and taste wise was waaaay better than any other big nammed restaurant in town. Food prices are not bad at all.
The place could use some air conditioning but other than that it is all 5 stars for me.

Atmosphere bright. Beautiful art work on display. Clean . Salsa hot. Chips good . Service very slow. Waitress ignored us , took a while to get our drinks .. the waitess could have taken our order, but she left and ignored us. There are only 2 tables and we are waiting 25 minutes for our food. You’d think when you order the special, you’d get your food quick. Nope!! The waitress ignored us and didn’t refill my water or ask us if needed anything.
Rice & beans good, but chicken flaunta didn’t taste right & dry.. ground beef enchilada he liked his lunch ..
I won’t be coming here again..

I’ve only eaten dinner here, so I can’t speak to their breakfast offerings. The tacos are the best I’ve had in this area and for an affordable price. The chile always has just the right amount of heat… not the kind that burns your face off. Just lots of flavor! The ladies at the front are always welcoming and friendly. This is my local Mexican go-to!

Nachos was good and the stuff sopapilla was lacking seasoning in the shredded beef. Their “FRY BREAD” wasn’t fry bread overall 1st time there I might give them another try
