My partner and I absolutely LOVED this place! It was our first time and the waitress was amazing! She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us while deciding what to order. It was busy but Chera took care of everyone! Her customer service is phenomenal and she made us feel welcomed! The hush puppies are THE BEST; they may be small but the flavor is too good! We will definitely be back and we recommend for sure!

If you are okay with waiting almost 45 minutes TO GET food (ToGo order no less!) you’ve come to the right place! And don’t expect for your $10 burger to come with fries, that’s extra! (And they don’t tell you that until you pay). Don’t worry, you’ll look around at the half empty restaurant while you wait and they will tell you it’s because they are “busy” when really it’s the MOLASSES slow cooks in the back. Take the extra trip to Braums in Duncan. You’ll get it much faster.

Tried this for lunch cause I was in the mood for breakfast. The place was clean and decor was nice and appropriate for the setting. It was a little loud but it was a busy time too. I ordered a 3 egg omelet, hash browns, and a biscuit with a side of bacon. The omelet was large and fluffy. So large in fact half of it and the hash went home with me. The biscuit was large as well and I’m usually irritated when only getting one as most places serve two but this was big enough I didn’t mind. Its supposed to be made on site and tasted like it. The only thing I didn’t like was that it fell apart on me with each bite. The hash browns weren’t crispy which isn’t necessarily a deal breaker for me like it is with bacon but still a let down. Whatever they use as a nonstick agent left a little bit of a twang to my food which I didn’t care for but it wasn’t bad enough I wouldnt eat it. Just a slight after taste. The bacon was good and crisp like I wanted and you got 3 pieces which is improved over places here lately dropping you with two little sad pieces. The one thing I really didn’t like and the thing that dropped it a full star was the hash and bacon were almost room temp. There was a noticeable difference between it and the omelet. The biscuit I expected to be like that because it’s not made to order but the rest should be or at least be warmed up on the grille prior to sending them out the door. The price for the meal was appropriate especially since I was gonna get a small second meal out of it. I’d try it again to see if consistency would give it another notch up.

I tried this place when it first opened. It was terrible burned food was served. There was only one waitress for morning rush. And there was 3 girls standing around the biscuit and gravy machine waiting to serve . Just waiting till Chisholm Corner signs get taken down to see if it’s any better. 8/18/23 gave this place another shot. Ha ha ha

Wait staff is overworked. Food was terrible. Had the Chicken fried steak and it tasted rancid. The okra was cold and hard.the only palatable thing on my plate were the mashed potatoes. Wait staff was fantastic.

Breakfast toasters were ok. I gave these Y Cafe folks another chance and they blew it completely. Never again in my life will I spend another hard earned red cent in there on food. Everything is bland no seasoning, breakfast burrito was absolutely trash, cook did not remove huge havles from lettuce, money well wasted was not cooked how I asked. Thanks so much for food I wouldn’t feed to a dog. Don’t change gloves or wash hands.

The food and the service is awesome here! Have eaten here several times. All the food is good but the fried fish is awesome to the max! It is even served on a blue fish shaped plate! Check this place out or miss out!
