Expensive but big portions and VERY delicious
Me and a big group of friends came in for some food and they hosted us very nicely. All the food looks delicious!!! But i personally ordered the chicken katsu for $21- it has a salad, 10 pieces of crispy chicken, and a side of white rice, and a miso soup to start the course. It was a bit expensive already and then it got worse… because they have these service fees, so it ended up being $25.90 so that was something… Besides that excellent place to eat food wise.

I ordered the California, avocado, spicy tuna and Las Vegas roll. To say the sushi was underwhelming would be nice. I hate to say that I’d rather have Safeway sushi but it’s close. I ordered the Luke warm miso and the steamed gyoza. The waitress was really nice and that was a highlight of the meal. The front counter is boring and overall the dining room looked unfinished. Pictures included. I will not be visiting again. Please upgrade your sushi, the competition is blowing you away.

Our go to place for sushi. My wife does not eat seafood but she absolutely loves their vegetarian sushi roll options. I love their sunset roll and jalapeño poppers. A must try!

This is our favorite local sushi restaurant! It is small and can get busy, so you may have a wait, but It’s so worth it. The short ribs are killer and all the sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. The servers are great, especially Megan. Prices are reasonable for fresh sushi.

Delicious food – Crispy Alaska and Washington Sushi, Vegetable Gyoza, Shrimp and Vegetable tempura, and Sunomono salad. (Definitely recommend Crispy Alaska sushi and Sunomono salad – which I don’t see in my local restaurants).

I really love sushi, but really wasn’t a fan of anything we ordered from here. I ordered 3 rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and miso soup. This was a delivery order – we were not provided chopsticks and our hot soup was put on top of all the sushi. The soup was good, but the fish had a fishy taste, which had me questioning the freshness and was hard to look past. For this reason, we ate very little of what ended up being an expensive order. I think I would be less inclined to review this if the price had been more reasonable. In my opinion, this isn’t was a $20 roll and $29 sashimi/nigiri should be. We did a delivery order, so it’s possible we would have had a better experience in store. But based on this experience, I would hesitate to order from them again.

Waited 25mins to be seated
Waited 30mins and got one tako yaki
After ordering 4 rolls, we decided to order more and before we can finish the waitress brought out a check before we even asked. Like they’re kicking us out even tho we been super nice. The Asian waitress been giving us bad attitude the whole time, just throwing foods on the table junda attitude
When we asked to order more she said it’s gonna be 30mins wait with that attitude of not wanting us to stay. World class customer service.
And it’s our dad birthday. Thanks Karen.
Ps: regret tipping 18%.

OUT WEST Food & Lifestyle
Cute place on Colby, clean, great service, but a little more expensive than average. Small bottle of sake was $25. Loved the tempura, miso soup, tuna and California rolls.
