Super happy with everything. Fast service, great food, and reasonable prices. The bartender, Evan, was also very helpful and they had some excellent wine selections. Not sure what else you could ask for? Maybe a music venue? Well, they’re opening one in the basement!! Bakersfield really needed a place like this and I’m happy they’re open again!

The Woolworth’s Luncheonette has great, simple food. The decor is charming and the smell of coffee from the coffee shop is fantastic . Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful, and each dish was presented neatly. Overall, it’s a great casual dining restaurant that I would definitely recommend for a pleasant lunch or dinner. The price is a little high for simple food but worth it to keep the place alive!

Hair in my burger, cold food, liquid was squeezing out of the burger and making my bun mushy and messy. The girl helping us didn’t know to hand us our cups after we paid and just gave us the gen z stare. Saw the hair while I was eating and the chef walked out, and it was for sure his hair, because it was white like his goatee. So disgusting. I will never go back. Vibe was strange too.

I placed an order three weeks ago and had to get a refund because it was going on an hour and still didn’t receive my food. I complained on their Instagram page and they apologized and told me to reach out to them by email so they could make it right. I did, yet I still didn’t hear anything from them. Never got to try their food and it seems they don’t really care to make it right.
