Excellent Sunday brunch. The menu is full of delicious brunch options. Their mission to make delicious food from local producers is very well executed. The brunch atmosphere is crisp, clean and relatively quiet early in the day. But as it fills up, it becomes louder. (Some people have forgotten their “inside voice” that their parents must have tried to teach them.) The vibe of this place is far more “big city” than the surrounding suburban environment, which is great because one does not have to deal with the traffic of a big city! The cream for coffee is REALLY fresh, such that you will look twice at it.

A little more expensive than some of the other breakfast/ brunch restaurants in the area, but by far one of, if not THE, best. The menu isn’t extensive, but has some really interesting dishes. The old fashioned donuts are a phenomenal starter, the boursin omelette is rich and delicious (I did without the mushrooms and added avocado), and the cocktails could start you down a long path of daytime drinking. Everything is amazing about this place, but I think my favorite thing is the crispy potatoes. I’ve never had breakfast potatoes quite like these. Did I mention the hotsauce? I could go on and on, but then I’d talk my self into going back right now!

I seriously can’t say enough great things about Heritage. It’s hands down my favorite spot in downtown FP. They’re amazing with dietary restrictions, cocktails and coffee are both great, and prices are super reasonable. Oyster happy hour is a big favorite of mine, and I take any out of town guests here (for either brunch or dinner!).

The Heritage is an awesome boutique bar and gastro-diner. We started the evening with outstanding bar service and drinks. Our bartender was genial and very good at her work. The coffee was definitely above average and well-liked. We were a huge party (17) so, while we had some delays with getting food, it’s totally understandable. We dined here during restaurant week, so there was a price fixe menu and a standard menu. My wife and I both ordered from the standard and loved our appetizers and entrees. Steak was perfectly done, pork belly was crispy and delicious, the avocado salad was outstanding, and the cauliflower was unique and memorably good. Service throughout was above average and more than friendly. Thanks for a fun evening!

The Heritage is nicely styled, a little upscale with good food. The menu is small, focusing on a few dishes at a time. I’ve found everything delicious but just keep in mind, the selection is small so check the menu first to be sure they have something you’ll like. My only ding is the cocktails menu. They bill themselves as craft classic cocktails but their menu slants boozy and anything but the classics. So if you want that, you’ll be going off menu (hoping the have ingredients needed). Overall, good effort for a suburban restaurant with a city feel.

My wife and I have been eating here since opening and have never been disappointed. They have an excellent, small, and seasonably changing menu. Cocktail selection and tap rotation are always top notch. The craftsmanship applied by the chefs and staff towards the food and establishment is very evident in the quality we experience. Our favorite spot in the near west burbs and we are proud to have them.

Everyone is fantastic. Kevin our server is always on point and so welcoming and friendly. Amanda is always warm and pours a hell of a cocktail. The general manager Jeff is always so inviting and pays close attention to every detail and always makes sure he touches our table to say hi and make me and my girl feel special. The food has never been anything short of fantastic. The chicken liver mousse if F-ing insanely good! Brunch was amazing! Dinner is always fantastic! I can’t say enough awesome things about this place. So awesome to have a place that you would find in the heart of Chicago out here in forest park. Well done heritage!

I went to The Heritage last night with two friends and had the most wonderful experience. The staff was super accommodating and attentive with my dietary needs (gluten and dairy free). Our meal and drinks were great and had the most wonderful server, Janelle. We enjoyed the chicken and the steak as entrees , which were AMAZING. We had a few starters as well: the Brussels sprouts and apple salad, the hummus, and my friends had the burrata and the soup of the day. I can see how the back of the house and the front of the house teams work well together to make the experience at The Heritage very wonderful one. Thank you.
