Food is good . Lots of specialties , happy hour is from 3-5pm. I ordered chicken wings which is .99 per piece and the serving is 10 pcs. Their buffalo medium hot wings are the best and there are other flavors you can mix and match . Their burger is a bomb!!!! Good stuff .servers are nice and kinda have a family ambience !! I me and my hubby kept coming back !

Yummy food and good service. I got the tuesday burger combo special and some chicken wings. Wings were great. Ranch tasted like ranch. They charbroil the burgers and the 1/2 lb patty was actually cooked to order (med well) which impressed me.

My overall rating is 2 stars. I came in to support a friend running the open mic/ karaoke night. First, to me, it kinda smells in there. It wasn’t a great one and eventually it started to smell like weed real strong. Even when I went to wash my hands, the sink water smelled like mold HEAVILY. Second, the server asked me if I wanted anything. I ordered a Bloody Mary. She asked to see my ID, I showed her, then she walked away with it for a minute. She said she needed to talk to the bartender first. I thought nothing of it.. She probably thought it was fake and wanted to double check. Normally I don’t have issues. I don’t look my age tho so sometimes I get shocked looks about the birthdate. She brought it back and told me that she couldn’t serve me, because the picture isn’t me… I said, yes it absolutely is. In my pic I do look a little bit different as I lost a lot of weight but same features.. So I went up to the bartender, showed him again, and pulled out my debit card which also has my name on it.. I feel like he didn’t wanna cause a scene so he served me, because when I brought it to him he first said “idk what to tell you.. she thinks its not you..” mind you this GIRL is probably in her early 20’s. She should be able to determine if someone’s ID is appropriate, but I was just short of bringing in my birth certificate to prove who I am. People DO lose/gain weight. Come on….

Stopped in during happy hour to try the Tuesday Special and was pleasantly surprised. You get a burger and a beer for $9 and have the option to add cheese and bacon for $1/each.
For $20 all in you can have a good dinner, a drink and leave a tip. Can’t beat that these days.
I couldn’t believe this deal when I saw it because in this economy, a good deal is hard to come by.
Stop in for happy hour to kick back, relax and enjoy the vibes.

Stopped in for a couple beers and decided to get a bite. The atmosphere was typical neighborhood bar. Nothing really special. Service was ok. Neither bartender or cook (who brought the food and check) was overly nice but they weren’t ayholes either.
The food was pretty good! I had the patty melt with crinkle cut fries. Took a little bit to make it but it was very fresh and fries were perfect! I’d go back for sure when I’m out in Mesa.

I’ve been drinking here for 5 years, and it’s one of the best, affordable experiences I’ve had in the dive atmosphere. =) The bartenders are always great and friendly. The food is extremely affordable and so good! And unlike a lot of other bars, they keep the music at a manageable level so you can still enjoy it but you can also talk to the people around you.

It’s your typical hole in the wall bar and grill. But the difference is the prices. In a day of where everywhere you go inflation has taken it’s toll, it seems The Woodshed II seems to have very reasonable price and great daily specials. The bartender was very nice and attentive, the food was tasty. And I would’ve given the place 5 stars had the tables not had signs that said, “sanitized” when they were clearly dirty. But nothing that a wet towel couldn’t clean. Overall if you want some good food and drinks this is a place you should visit. Your wallet will thank you.
