5/5 – Incredible Small-Town Gem with Outstanding Service – We had such a wonderful experience at The Woodford in Minonk, IL. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was absolutely exceptional. Zoe and the kitchen crew, Tara, and Sarah went above and beyond to take care of our table of four with truly some of the best service we’ve ever had anywhere. A special shout-out to Zoe, who surprised my mom by singing Happy Birthday to her. It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that made the afternoon memorable. You can just tell Zoe is exceptionally wonderful with customers. The food was just as impressive. The homemade tenderloin is something you do not want to miss – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was delicious and exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere was lively and fun with great music, the kind of place that reminds you that even in a small town, you can find top-quality food paired with truly amazing service. We left feeling genuinely cared for and already planning our next visit.

My wife and I ate here for the first time today. We heard that the food was really good. We were not disappointed! First impressions are everything in my opinion. The staff were all friendly and great when we had questions. My wife tried the wings and said that they were really good. I had the homemade tenderloin and was very happy with how they were prepared. Definitely will be going back to try their burgers. Good job everyone!! Keep doing what you are doing.

This is the friendliest Pub we have been to. The staff made good conversation and several customers came in and all said hello and were welcoming… and very good food.

I’m from New York City and come out to Minonk to visit my girlfriend—and every single time, we make a point to eat at The Woodford Pub. The food here is absolutely top-notch. I’ve tried the pretzel, cheese curds, wings (both garlic parm & BBQ), fries, and loaded tots everything is a solid 10/10. The flavors are on point, and the portions are generous.
Also, big shoutout to their drink selection—they carry Coca-Cola products, and I’m hooked on the strawberry and raspberry lemonades. Super refreshing and go perfectly with the food.

Met friends for lunch and was so surprised by the newly renovated restaurant/bar. Service was great, friendly, fast and the orders were perfect. Had the smash burger and fries and it was outstanding. The menu all looks great and this is clearly popular for good reason!
