Nevertheless, there’s much room for enhancement in the overall dining experience, specifically concerning the service provided. While the initial interaction and food delivery are satisfactory, it would greatly benefit customers if the servers would proactively check in after delivering meals to ensure that eating patrons have everything they need or ask if they would like some more coffee or water and are completely satisfied with their dining experience. over all we would come back!!!

Had Italian omelet it was ok the hash browns were not my favorite the coffee and toast were good .My mom said her bacon was cold but her eggs and grits were ok. They were fairly busy.

We had such a delicious breakfast here! The cinnamon roll pancake was AMAZING. We also tried the omlette special of the day, which was sausage and peppers, and it was delicious! Everything was very tasty.
Our server was Aimee and she was so sweet and friendly! We had fantastic service and she was very helpful and wrote the sweetest message on my to-go box!
If you’re looking for a classic diner with amazing food, definitely come here! We cannot wait to come back!

We came from Northern Virginia and found this place on Google Maps. It was spot on!!! We love their food and selections. Prices were great. We want to thank Chrysti for her great service, her awesome kindness, and beautiful personality. Thank you for truly making us feel like home. Thank you also to Juanita for your great welcoming. I suggested that my husband and adult son try the Wooden Spoon Riverview for their lunch today.
They were not disappointed! They chose the All You Can Eat Fish for Friday. They told me about their experience and they were very impressed with the food and service. The food is freshly cooked to order and the fish was crisp and the French fries were perfect! Johnny was their server and she was excellent and never kept them waiting for the additional fish or drinks. She was pleasant,friendly and professional. They had a wonderful experience at the Wooden Spoon Riverview and are already planning their next trip! So many great choices on the menu it seems it will be a difficult decision on their next breakfast or dinner.

WELL WE TRIED IT
The cranberry juice cocktail was great and a large serving size. Its taste leaned more towards the cranberry where you could taste and feel a little of the bitterness more than grape or apple for a cocktail juice.
The decor was unique.
There was a couple seated next to us who left because we were seated before our party of 5. We had our drinks and orders placed even though their party of 2 were there first.
The food was like a typical all American diner a hodgepodge of breakfast and lunch served all day.
Unfortunately we witnessed a theme with the clientele. A consensus from a Regional Sales VP from one of the largest companies in the world based here in Florida, a caterer, entrepreneur, retired military family. Individually we all saw the same thing.
I noticed the blueberry and lemon French toast special from the board. So I decided to try something new. It was different. By the time I was halfway through it was just too sweet for me. The flavor was like a cinnamon roll with lemon and blueberries. Maybe it was because of the cream cheese icing. Which I had never had French toast taste like a cinnamon roll. Maybe they added cinnamon to the cream cheese icing.
We asked for soft scrambled and they weren’t so we told the waitress. She was startled and looked like she didn’t know what to do.
The pancakes were large in size but tough.

We went on a Sunday. There was a wait but was not too long. Our waitress Kassandrae was AWESOME! She was very attentive. The atmosphere was great! The employees were friendly. They have tables for indoor or outdoor eating. I would visit this place again.

We used to have a wooden spoon in Lakeland, so when I saw this one I knew i had to stop! Their food is always hot and taste great. Their staff are kind, and on track. They have great iced coffee. The restaurant is always clean and honey. I love eating here and would make the drive again just to eat here since they closed the one in Lakeland. We miss you in Lakeland!
