Food was good but I was disappointed with the freshly squeezed orange juice because it was not. I like their pancakes, tiramisu and also the chicken wrap.

They bake their own bread, and it makes a #BOLD and delicious difference. While in KC, we received suggestions to go to a few different breakfast spots… I’m very happy we chose The Wooden Spoon. The French toast was tremendous, and my daughter’s breakfast burger and tots were the best. The seasoning on the tots must be a family secret. They were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. This family run eatery is one to make a stop at.

The service was great. Ordered to go, the server forgot to ask us if we needed any sauces salt napkins or any utensils. I guess I’m use to Cali servings I Ordered a large orange juice for almost $5 & only got an 8oz..so not worth the price. My breakfast burrito was ok & hashbrowns were good..but would hv tasted better if I had ketchup on them.

We visited Saturday August 26. This was our first time here. We had a great time, we love a local owned business and this is a great one. The caramel macchiato pancakes are awesome. The cook came out and visited with us for quite a while. A great experience I can’t wait to go back. I will grab another loaf of their sourdough bread!

A very cute little breakfast restaurant! The staff were super friendly and service was amazingly fast. The inside of this place has a variety of paintings on the walls that you can purchase. The hash browns were amazing but the croissant was a little over toasted. Overall the food was decent.

The Wooden Spoon is a wonderful breakfast and lunch spot. They have typical diner food, but also have an excellent variety of vegetarian options. As a former vegetarian, I really appreciate having good meatless options, like the falafels. I also love the BLT as a current meat eater. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. The owners are very friendly and have a passion for limiting their negative impact on the environment. I love that their takeaway containers are all microwave and dishwasher safe so you can use them over and over before eventually recycling. I would highly recommend the Wooden Spoon!

Eggs Benedict have a nacho cheese flavored spicy sauce on top instead of hollandaise sauce. It does not taste good and after one bite we ate nothing else from it. It was that bad. Staff didn’t seem to care or mind. We paid in full and didn’t ask for a refund but everyone should know to avoid this dish.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give one star. Portions are so small and quality is horrible for the exorbitant price for each dish. And flavors were lacking and all around bad experience. Worst breakfast I have ever had. I added a picture of the hash which was $17 and a ver small portion.

Delightful hole-in-the-wall shop. Super friendly service. They brine their own corned beef, and I can honestly say it’s the tastiest corned beef I’ve ever had, so I highly recommend their dish, “the Angry Irishman”! The biscuits and gravy were handmade and delicious. Freshly brewed coffee. Clean restrooms. Pay at table via qr code.

Easy to find near the highway with plenty of parking. A nice atmosphere with friendly staff who go out of the way to make you feel at home. Since it was a nice morning the princess and I chose to eat outside and we both enjoyed the food very much. Worth the stop
