A home cook for over 20 years, Tina Yake has been inspired by two generations of home cooks from her grandmother and her mother. Her family has been in the food industry since 1983 and has been very active with the family’s business in the baking industry until 1999 when she started her own family. Wayne, her husband, and their children have been her biggest fans until her co-workers talked her into cooking for them on a regular basis. Since The Wooden Spoon’s inception, Tina and Wayne have been catering to businesses in the area for their breakfast and lunch needs. While their specialty is American cuisine, their shop features high grade, deli meats. Taking that one step further, Wayne and Tina are determined to put a twist on family favo

Incredible homemade food. Great coffee. I tried the lemon ricotta pancake with raspberry drizzle and homemade whip cream (just one to taste) and it was one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! The vegetarian eggs Benedict and hash browns were great also. My husband had a burger and tator tots. Everything was cooked perfectly. The wait staff was attentive. Coffee was wonderful. This is going to be a repeat when visiting for sure. Breakfast and lunch all day.

Went on New Years Day am…. seems like almost whole menu is made in house. They have a lot of must trys but I started with cinnamon roll – which did not disappoint. Now there was 1 lady that was host and server. She worked entire building!!! Great customer service and seemed to stay current with all customers.

This morning I enjoyed the Wooden Spoon. It’s a little place tucked back in the corner of a shopping plaza. The omelet was more like a scramble style, though quite yummy with ample fillings. I really prefer two slices of toast (4 pieces), yet they had orange marmalade which wins with me. Good coffee and very friendly service. I think it’s a little more that it should be for the portion, yet it is a fine place for a meal.

Delicious food and spectacular atmosphere. It was a splendid time, and the coffee, food, and overall niceness of the staff made it a great experience. I randomly chose this place and was not disappointed, in fact, I’m thrilled. This was awesome, I wholeheartedly recommend it. I had the breakfast burrito and it was filled with exactly what it said, I had chorizo as my protein choice. I also had the Creme Brulee french toast which came out hot and delicious, paired well with my coffee. My party thoroughly enjoyed their time and food as well. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a cozy breakfast place.

Myself and my family had time to kill at doctor’s appointments today. We needed to eat and my daughter found this establishment online so thought we would check it out. My daughter and I got the French Toast Royale. Her grandmother-in-law got a cheeseburger and tots. The food was delicious and came out quick. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly and professional. I would DEFINITELY eat there again. If you haven’t tried it out, I would highly recommend you doing so.

We had the Florentine Eggs bennies and the Ranchers Omelet. The poached eggs were perfectly executed. Everything was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of breakfast and brunch. Majority of their products are homemade. Including all of their bread items.

This was my first time there and definitely won’t be the last. They have amazing homemade sourdough bread! (Which I took a loaf home) I had eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. My eggs were cooked to perfection as was the rest of my meal. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!
