Been in Enid 40 years and have never heard of this restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem. The waitress was very friendly and kept our drinks full and made sure to keep us informed of how long our food was taking. Which only down fall was the wait for the food but we did come in right when breakfast was wrapping up so maybe reason for it. But once we got our food it was ok in the world again. Everything was so good and perfect portions. Will be back.

Loved it. The staff is kind and caring. The food is awesome. I didn’t spend anything for breakfast. As a guest in the hotel you get breakfast. They have a menu for the guests and if you want something extra you pay, but other than that you don’t. VERY nice people here.

We left there very disappointed in the food. Service was extremely slow and the food was low quality. “Hamburger steak” was just a burger patty with cold canned mushrooms. And for some reason the Philly cheese steak is served on Texas toast. Our fries were cold and floppy.

The fluffiest pancakes and the nicest staff in Enid. I can’t wait until my cheat day to go back. The menu has a good variety of things I’ve never. Next time I don’t know what to eat I’m going to try something new and report back. If you’re a good tipper ask for April. She’s the best.

Went to the Wooden Nickel today for brunch. Sat waiting for our food for almost an hour. A biscuit, some sausage and home fries should not take an hour. Breakfast is what they do. This place was not full. I’m sure it is a favorite by Enid standards, but for someone wanting to have a timely breakfast, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you are wanting to hang out with everyone- it’s your place.

Food might be good I wouldn’t know. Me and girlfriend stood for almost 10 minutes waiting for a table to be cleaned off so we could sit. Everyone inside stopped and stared at us when we came in like some hillbilly Alien body snatchers. After not being waited on or acknowledged at all by any employees and people watching our every move we left. One of the Most awkward uncomfortable experiences of our lives.
