Always knew about the location on the south end of the mall but not sure when this location opened and when The Great Steak & Potato Co. folded but Charley’s delivers a decent tasting cheesesteak.
My father who was born & raised in Eastern PA from time to time will stop in at Charley’s for a cheesesteak when going for his daily walk in the mall. He’s very picky about his cheesesteaks but claims this place has a decent taste if not a bit pricy.
I appreciate a cheesesteak here from time to time especially The Old School cheesesteak w/ Old School Philly fries, MMMM!! Since it is a chain, you’ll commonly hear/read that they’re not authentic or the meat’s bland compared to a real Philly cheesesteak.
It really is “you like what you like” and if the customer service is consistently good like any other location I’ve been to then it’s a go-to spot.

The cashier girl with the glasses is very rude and refuses to give out employee mall discounts, not only her but the older Hispanic guy with the long hair is always very rude as well and always has his headphones on he couldn’t even here me when I said you’re putting the wrong ingredients on my sandwich! I come here constantly but almost always met with rudeness from these two employees! They need to be disciplined

Didn’t cut me or my boyfriend’s sandwich all the way through so made it hard to eat also forgot my tomato’s also the lettuce is trash and in big chunks so it’s unpleasant and meat is always very dry and over cooked only thing good about this place is the fries and lemonades.
