Dined here due to Google reviews. It was a Sunday, very busy. No hostess and we waited 9 minutes before anyone greeted us…I qish I remembered our servers name ( she was the only one with her hair up-not all around the food) she was great. We never had to ask for drink refills and she checked on us often. We got the Mushroom Swiss burger and the Black and Blue burger. The Black and Blue was great. Very flavorful and erved with fries.

Perfect breakfast in a cozy restaurant. This place delivers exactly what you’d expect. A no frills, no fancy dishes. Just solid, traditional breakfast options. We had a minimal wait, which wasn’t an issue as we came during peak hours on a weekend. Once seated, our server was quick to greet us and get our drink orders. Once ordered, the good came out pretty quickly and exactly as ordered. The food was well seasoned and cooked well. We will not hesitate to return here. I’d highly suggest this establishment if you want a great, traditional breakfast.

Cute, cozy restaurant. Went there for the first time today. Pancake was delicious, and I’m not a pancake fan. Crispy outside and fluffy inside. Mushroom omelet, lots of cheese and the hash browns were the best I’ve had in a long time. Crispy and soft with flavor! Coffee was good too. Service was excellent! Prices are very reasonable!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time and I already can’t wait to come back. I don’t know what they do to their hashbrowns, but they were the best I’ve ever had, crispy but not hard, & the flavor was outstanding! Goetta and over-easy fried eggs were both delicious and perfectly cooked. Gravy was really good, country fried steak was crispy & yummy. Food came out quickly, server was friendly, definitely recommend & will be back!

We had a fantastic experience at The Wooden Barrel. My wife ordered the wooden barrel omelette, I tried the wooden barrel favorite, and our kids enjoyed their pancakes. Every dish was delicious, and we were impressed by how quickly the food arrived at our table. The service was friendly and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a great family meal!

First time there and it was great. Just what you want from a “mom & pop” type restaurant. Service was kind and efficient. Food was right on: club sandwich, patty melt, and liver and onions. All three fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back.
