Food was AMAZING. We opted for the tasting menu. We eat at many highly sought out restaurants in DC proper, and this meal was better than almost all of those! We really got our money’s worth, too. The amount of food will not disappoint. Only downside: Our first interactions with service workers were off-putting. When we arrived, we were within 2ft of 3 staff members, none of whom greeted us for a minute plus. It was odd, and not a great way to start the meal. The rest of the experience was fine!

Oh my. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect when we booked our monthly wine club tasting across the street and decided to do dinner at the Wine Kitchen.

My friend and I came here on a weekday for happy hour. We got a seat outside, which was nice. We ordered the goat cheese fritters, chickpea fritters, and meatballs. Everything was medicore at best. The chickpea fritters desperately needed a dipping sauce. The meatballs weren’t tender. The portion sizes were TINY. I get that it’s happy hour, so portions will be smaller, but we were still starving after ordering 3 appetizers. I ordered the red shrimp garganelli to go. Came home a bit later, excited to eat it, and was SO disappointed. The shrimp were miniscule and overcooked and the sauce was dry. You wouldn’t even know it was shrimp if the description on the menu didn’t say so. If I’m paying $23 for a shrimp pasta, the shrimp better be big and cooked well. Just an absolute disappointment overall, will not be back.

A great little restaurant and wine bar. Had a light salad and great bottle of wine. Service was outstanding. Wish we had a place like this at home. Will come back again as often as possible.

Had a great night here. Dinner was scrumptious, cocktails balanced and delicious and the service was friendly. Intimate seating arrangements but with that comes a suggestion for reservations. Greatful to have such a great restaurant so close to home that would be comparable to the down DC has to offer.

Cute restaurant with good wine list. Only gave 3 stars on thr food because the trout was super salty. The veggies ans potatoes on the other hand were excellent. Tasty bloody mary in a nice heavy crystal glass that was begging for an old-fashioned. Maybe next time……

We come here regularly, twice a month, last night we were greeted by the rudest hostess I have ever encountered. There were 5 table tops open and we told the lady we just wanted to have drinks and sit in the high top area. She said we are very busy and it will about 20 minutes to serve you for drinks only . She promptly turned her back to us and let us hanging .
