I would definitely come here for the wine and the sangria cocktail were great. The food was horrible. The steak was so hard to chew and had no seasoning to it. I ate two little pieces. The sauce in the little container was frozen for some reason. The only thing good about this plate was the mashed potatoes definitely will not come back for the food. Definitely disappointed for the price that we paid.

Fun spot. Lots of little nooks to cozy up inside and out. The food is good. Went for dinner with two of my daughters. Enjoyed the pita chip appetizer, fried gnocchi entree as well as linguini with veggies, and chicken Caesar salad. We also tried some house wines. The Diamond Rio was excellent.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy and our server was so kind. I got the tiramisu and dry wine flight which were both delicious. Thursdays are buy one get one half off for the flights, which is a great deal. Great date night spot!

First time here. We had a girls’ day out and decided to experience the Igloo. We made the reservation in advance, and it reserves your time in the igloo for 2 hours. The main winery/restaurant is unique and welcoming. Staff led us outside to our reserved igloo. It was 22° this afternoon, and although it was a bit chilly at times when the “door” to the igloo was opened, it was warm and comfortable the rest of the time. Staff were friendly and prompt. To start, I chose a wine flight, which consisted of 4 wines. We shared their Pretzels and pita chips as appetizers, and both were delicious. For lunch, I shared the apple pecan salad with chicken and a margarita flat bread. Both were good choices and very flavorful. There is a small cottage on site that be rented as well. There is also outdoor seating available during warmer weather. Definitely will go back!

This place is a cool atmosphere, but the wine is definitely cheap stuff with artificial taste. The wine gave my friend and I a headache that lasted the rest of the day.

My family loves this hidden gem! I love that they have a kids menu and are accepting of kids. (Ps I highly recommend booking an igloo to keep your kids contained and not bothering anyone else while parents can enjoy a bottle of wine!).
We’ve been here quite a few times now and always left satisfied. The food is excellent and the ambiance is so nice. And great wine! Definitely recommend!

Cool wine cave name. Nice effort and outcomes with “cave like” rock wall aesthetic.
Server wasn’t enthusiastic about any specific wine. two tasty but crumbly dry crab cakes with generic fries for $32. Yikes.
Good but not $22 good. Really surprising.
Nice server but gave us impression it was blah. frustrates Us to leave this review.
The pic of the sauce was what we received when I asked for a sauce to dip fries into! Shocking. ♂️

The Wine Cave is a restaurant and bar in an artificial cave. It also has cabins and seasonal igloos outside. My husband and I have eaten at The Wine Cave twice. First, we reserved an igloo in the winter. We enjoyed our foods and a fire pit, but condensation from the igloo roof dripped onto us, and our server incorrectly delivered our foods to the neighboring igloo. Second, we ate inside the cave. I liked looking at the birch trees, artificial stalactites and cave paintings, and water. Our waitress spoke nicely with us but took a long time to bring our foods. Across the two meals, we loved the s’mores, spinach-artichoke dip, apple-pecan salad, turkey-melt sandwich, shrimp diavola, trico di crema cake, peanut-butter temptation, and riesling. We liked three other alcoholic beverages. My husband did not like his ricotta-meatballs pizza.

My mom and sister planned my baby shower here and it was the best place for it! The day was so special filled with amazing food, great service and the atmosphere was so wonderful! It was set up so nicely for a small shower and the space was perfect for our event! Michelle and Erica were fabulous and extremely attentive to our party’s needs! Will definitely have more future events here!

We rented an igloo for a 40th birthday celebration and unfortunately everything was wet inside. The space heater took the edge off but we all had to wear our winter coats because the water dripping from the ceiling onto our heads, the water running off the plastic tablecloths onto our laps, and the wet chairs made it absolutely freezing. The food was average but different from the menu online and without the happy hour specials advertised. The service was average with no water refills. My final complaint is that they did not honor a $50 gift card because they “rebranded” from Hartwood Wine Cave to The Wine Cave.
Edited to add that the owner commented on my review and said they refunded the $50 igloo fee but never did. 0/5 stars
