Weekly spot to enjoy the MOST AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS vegan eats! Recommend that you always get the special if there is one! One of the agua frescas, coffees, or a choice from the variety of other drink selections are a must have. The photos are from different times, mostly specials. Anything on the menu is the right choice – just depends on what you’re feeling. The ENTIRE staff is great! Fun, attentive, and absolutely the best team. Do your tummy and taste buds a favor and visit the Wild Chive! The art hanging and on the walls, and entire restaurant decor are the vibes!

Had brunch here on a Sunday morning and it was busy, but no wait. Our server was so pleasant and kept our waters full.
I had one of the best micheladas that I have ever had and my country breakfast was tasty!
There was a bit of a dog kerfuffle while we were there, but the staff didn’t seem rattled by it and other than that a perfect brunch!

Awesome vegan comfort food.
Nice people.
It is my favorite place to eat in Long Beach
I went there again on August 4. The lady at the desk smiled and handed me a menu so I could choose my lunch. I told her what I wanted and she took me to the counter and helped me place my order. She invited me to have a seat while they prepared my lunch. I was wondering how I was going to hear them call my name. No worries. When my order was ready she brought it to my table.

When a vegan foodie friend came to visit California recently, we went here for brunch, and it was fabulous. The service was great, our server was so cool, and the decor and vibe were on point. ALL of the food was so good, including the fried pickles! I got the French toast and cleaned my plate. My friend also loved her breakfast entree, made of tofu. I would definitely return, and I’m not even a vegan. Check the hours – they aren’t open late. Parking is just street parking and in the residential neighborhood.

One of my most favorite vegan spots in the country, I always make it a point to stop at The Wild Chive when I’m anywhere near Long Beach. They used to have an incredible monte cristo sandwich that I’m still dreaming about. Pa’s Cubano is a good substitute though. The Vietnamese coffee kept me going all afternoo. The always-kind and helpful staff make every visit awesome!

Absolutely LOVED our visit here – the food was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the playlist playing was fantastic. I was signing along as we sat there for almost 3 hours visiting with family, and the staff never minded, and in fact they made sure to keep us hydrated and well taken care of the whole time.
The fried pickles and the oat milk pancakes were absolutely fantastic – some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my 43 years in this life. Absolutely wonderful!

I’m not a vegan but I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who wants to give vegan food a chance. One of the best vegan brunch spots that I’ve had! I got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it was amazing. They made it with house made condensed oat milk and I can’t wait to go back to have more! We also got the Monte Cristo, Zucchini bites and Mushroom burger! So so good!!

Ok, I’m going to start with I am NOT a vegan and this place is phenomenal! The service was great, the workers are super nice and food is just.. yum! Their cheese tastes like dairy cheese, I could not tell the difference. I didn’t care for the “bacon”, it had the consistency of thin jerky and the bland taste and altogether just didn’t pair well for me. However, the “BLT” sandwich was still amazing without it. I will come here every time I want to eat more green next time I will have to ask for my coffee to come out hotter, besides that my time here was nothing shy of perfection.

First time we try this place and it has become our new fav brunch/lunch spot in Long Beach right away!
The food is super tasty and healthy, definitely one of the best vegan food I ever had in LA. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. To top it off, the patio tables and indoor/outdoor space make it very dog friendly which was perfect for our dog (it’s also 5min from Rosie’s beach, so very convenient!)

Staff and atmosphere are kind and cool (minus waiting ten minutes for a water refill), but the best thing we consumed was the Aqua Fresca. Mushroom burger is over-salted, has the worst of the store bought bacon on it, and lacks any interesting flavor. Tatar tots were okay, but uninspired. The salad was a British type of salad (eg Tree leaves). We didn’t eat any of the breakfast desert items (French toast, pancakes, etc), but those do look better than what we had. Doubt I’ll risk coming here again and it won’t make my best of Vegan places in the world bookmark.
