We actually lived closer to the new location. They opened in CL. Since they’ve opened a few months ago, we have eaten there usually at least once a week. The first few times it took forever to get our subs (Like 20 to 30 minutes after they said they would be ready) We chalked it up to them being new and working out all the kinks. Unfortunately, The past several times, we have got subs at this location. They have been very disappointing to say the least. They aren’t toasted when they’re supposed to be, When you ask for light mayo, they loaded on and your sub is sometimes soggy, you literally Get more meat at Subway on your sub lately, I’ve reached out to them not only calling, but I’ve also wrote them as you can see on their Facebook page. If you look at the picture, they have read it and now it’s been five days later and zero response. As my message dates. I’m not looking for anything free just letting a Small business know what’s been happening lately and that it’s disappointing. We are business owners ourselves, and we always encouraged to hear the good and the bad as we can’t fix an issue or praise someone if we aren’t aware of it.
Extremely disheartening that they couldn’t even respond or acknowledge. We love supporting local and seeing a little businesses thrive. Hopefully, they read this and see that we were just trying to reach out and make them aware and that they should’ve taken the time to have a simple reply back and coach this location of the issues that have been brought to them. Very sad that it’s left a sour taste in our mouths now and we are a family of nine who frequent their location and may not now.
Now about the service- it took forever. I arrived at about dinner time on a Saturday and was in line for a long time. When it was my turn to order, I got the employee with a bad attitude. She has dark hair and a tattoo on the back of her neck of a skeleton hand giving you the middle finger. If you have the same misfortune- the trick is to MATCH HER ENERGY. Do not hesitate. Be blunt and loud and clear when you speak to her, just like she is with you. You will get what you order, if it’s GF it will be safe to eat, and the whole experience will feel like the “Soup Nazi” episode of Seinfeld.
The other employee there also helped with my order, and she was lovely.
Try to avoid the food rush hour — I waited for an hour but it is definitely worth wait! This means that the food is great
There were two employees working when I came and they hustled the line as quickly as they could
Firstly, I have a gluten allergy. The staff was very knowledgeable and had a separate section for everything including toasting. I feel very safe eating here and it’s hard to get that when I eat out.
Second, the staff are so friendly and work quick! I’ve been in there while they were packed and I was still in and out in a timely manner. I’ve had some wonderful conversations while waiting and the service is just above and beyond!
And third, the food is DELICIOUS! Every time I get a cauliflower wedge my mouth waters while I wait in line and eating it is even better! If you’re in the area and hungry I can’t think of a better place to stop.
