Did I need a sub that was bigger than more forearm?? .. probably not. Will I be happily eating for a couple of days?? Yes. The girl who answered the phone and took my order was extremely polite. My pickup was seamless, and the young lady who rang me up, ( wearing a super cool Friday the 13th shirt) also very friendly. The sub so very delicious.

My family and I have been eating with this company for years. It all Started when we first moved here and my daughter had dance and they were right next-door. It was so convenient for our family to go grab a bite to eat after her dance classes. Had a few minor hiccups, but the staff was friendly downtown and fixed any issue.

We actually lived closer to the new location. They opened in CL. Since they’ve opened a few months ago, we have eaten there usually at least once a week. The first few times it took forever to get our subs (Like 20 to 30 minutes after they said they would be ready) We chalked it up to them being new and working out all the kinks. Unfortunately, The past several times, we have got subs at this location. They have been very disappointing to say the least. They aren’t toasted when they’re supposed to be, When you ask for light mayo, they loaded on and your sub is sometimes soggy, you literally Get more meat at Subway on your sub lately, I’ve reached out to them not only calling, but I’ve also wrote them as you can see on their Facebook page. If you look at the picture, they have read it and now it’s been five days later and zero response. As my message dates. I’m not looking for anything free just letting a Small business know what’s been happening lately and that it’s disappointing. We are business owners ourselves, and we always encouraged to hear the good and the bad as we can’t fix an issue or praise someone if we aren’t aware of it.

Extremely disheartening that they couldn’t even respond or acknowledge. We love supporting local and seeing a little businesses thrive. Hopefully, they read this and see that we were just trying to reach out and make them aware and that they should’ve taken the time to have a simple reply back and coach this location of the issues that have been brought to them. Very sad that it’s left a sour taste in our mouths now and we are a family of nine who frequent their location and may not now.

This is a little mom and pop sub shop. I ordered gluten free items. They will ask “allergy or preference,” and if you say “allergy,” they will change gloves and make your food in a separate space, but still in front of you such that you can see the whole process. There’s still a small risk of cross-contamination, but it is a sub shop after all. As far as taste goes, GF Wedge substitute for bread was good, the flatbread was not.

Now about the service- it took forever. I arrived at about dinner time on a Saturday and was in line for a long time. When it was my turn to order, I got the employee with a bad attitude. She has dark hair and a tattoo on the back of her neck of a skeleton hand giving you the middle finger. If you have the same misfortune- the trick is to MATCH HER ENERGY. Do not hesitate. Be blunt and loud and clear when you speak to her, just like she is with you. You will get what you order, if it’s GF it will be safe to eat, and the whole experience will feel like the “Soup Nazi” episode of Seinfeld.

The other employee there also helped with my order, and she was lovely.

It’s crazy how that whole flatbread pizza that I got that’s gluten free loaded with pulled chicken — more than I can eat is $10!

Try to avoid the food rush hour — I waited for an hour but it is definitely worth wait! This means that the food is great

There were two employees working when I came and they hustled the line as quickly as they could

Although we have been here multiple times before and had a good experience. I just felt today’s visit deserved a little extra recognition. For starters the employees are very friendly. The gentleman that manages it, is always very friendly and ready to help with anything. Today I finally tried their meatball sub. I had heard it was good, but in my experience sometimes the things recommended by one is not necessarily that great. This was accurate! It was the best meatball sub I’ve ever had and my husband and I are foodies.

We live in Erie and have been known to go to Meadville just to eat here! Today was extra special. We were greeted by Emma when we walked in. I ordered the gluten free flatbread and was asked if I had an allergy. She took amazing care of my 6 yr old who was unsure what to get and made sure that my flatbread was cooked until it was crispy. My husband’s sub was so good that my son tried to steal it. The whole crew was kind and efficient. Big fan! thanks for the great service.

I cannot recommend this place enough!!
Firstly, I have a gluten allergy. The staff was very knowledgeable and had a separate section for everything including toasting. I feel very safe eating here and it’s hard to get that when I eat out.
Second, the staff are so friendly and work quick! I’ve been in there while they were packed and I was still in and out in a timely manner. I’ve had some wonderful conversations while waiting and the service is just above and beyond!
And third, the food is DELICIOUS! Every time I get a cauliflower wedge my mouth waters while I wait in line and eating it is even better! If you’re in the area and hungry I can’t think of a better place to stop.

The food was AMAZING! The bread was so soft even when toasted. The customer service was a dream. They’re very attentive to details. It was my first visit. I was offered the house sauce and it was so good! I’ll be visiting on family dinner nights. I would recommend to anyone looking for good and filling food.

I have been a long time customer of WDT – they’ve been a staple in the community my entire life. We were recently in on a busy Saturday during lunch and the only two ladies working were moving as quickly as they could but they simply could not keep up with all they had to work on all at once. The workers deserve the restaurant to be better staffed, as do the customers. The food is and has always been absolutely wonderful. Please work on whatever you need to do to address the staffing – raise prices to compensate for better pay, etc. Thank you!
