We are a small, family-owned business located in the quaint little village of Lemasters. Our plans were to save this beautiful, unique, victorian era bank building with no further plans, but were asked by the people to bring back a deli. So, here we are today! We pride ourselves in serving delicious food, home-cooked recipes and fresh, quality ingredients. Great customer service and quality food, in a clean, nostalgic atmosphere. We would love to serve you and look forward to your visit! We have a full menu from all-day breakfast to dessert as well as fresh, in-house-baked pies, cakes, cookies, confections, and our subs are packed with quality meats and cheeses. Here it’s more than just the food, it’s the experience!

This is a small sandwich delu/shop that makes excellent sandwiches. They do not have an extensive menu but they offer a decent variety of breakfast and hot and cold lunch sandwiches with prices that are reasonable. This is not a sit down shop. Strictly a carry out business.
Street only parking is available.
The staff is friendly and the service is quick.
I recommend trying this place for a great sandwich.

This was our first time visiting. We went for lunch it was so good we went back for dinner. I have to say I’m always worried when I order steak and cheese subs but wow I’m am very impressed. Highly love the atmosphere employees are so nice and caring. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to explore more of the foods. Thank you!

Stopped by to check out and got a ham hoagie and a turkey sandwich. I am very impressed with the service as they truly cared and were proud of their business. Must be very popular as it was crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Planned to go back thru the week to try the breakfast menu.

Very nice little store. Has homemade desserts, pies, donuts, etc. Has made to order sandwiches and daily specials. Has fountain drinks, coffee, and iced tea. Deli counter, snacks, etc. Very friendly owners and staff. Reasonable prices. Recommend the homemade chicken salad.

They just wanted to save the old bank!! The people wanted the sub shop!! Ordered an Italian and Chicken Salad hoagie. I’m sorry I couldn’t snap a pic, but these subs were gone far too quickly. The rolls were soft and not dense, which I appreciate! All too often, a bad roll ruins the experience. Great texture! The meats and cheeses were both full of flavor! Quite a bit on the rolls as well. You could tell this was either top shelf meats, or homemade salads, and the price was right for the extraordinary quality! If you’re in the area, or even if you aren’t, this is worth the trip! We will be back!

Amazing sandwiches and great service! This is a real gem to have within the community! They offer many things from salads to all types of sandwiches! They also have a great drink selection and a good frozen treat section for anyone craving some ice cream or Philadelphia ice! Highly recommend as I am a frequent customer here!

I’ve been to the Whistle Stop Deli a few times. When it comes to the staff, I give them 5 out of 5 stars. They are very friendly and helpful. They have gone out of their way to make sure the food that I buy for my wife does not have gluten. They even gave me a sample of potato salad when I asked. I still have a lot of different food I want to try. So far my favorite has been their breakfast bowls. They even have a soda fountain with coke products. Their prices seem in line with other deli’s. A few things need mentioning. The deli is not wheelchair accessible but if you call them, they will bring a menu to you and then your order. There is not public restroom. I think the large fountain soda is a little pricey compared to their food prices. I am looking forward to trying more of their food.
