Great place for watching sports. Alot of TVs. Watched multiple Olympic games. Every TV had a different event on so you could follow the events you wanted. Gabby the server was great, fun and personality. She was awesome. She makes you want to want keep coming back. The food menu is gigantic alot to choose from. Impossible to not find something for everyone. I recommend to my friends and family.

Good drinks and great place to watch games. I had the grilled chicken garden salad and it was pretty good. I did have to order extra salad dressing, but I was satisfied. Will come again!

I ordered chips and quac and she brought chips and salsa. I didn’t say anything and just ate them, the chips were so greasy my stomach hurt before I left. We ordered the espresso/gingerbread martini and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. I did tell the server it was so disgusting and she didn’t know what to do other than get a manager. I didn’t feel that would warrant a manager. She should have taken the drink back to the bar and made me something else. So I barely drank it. I used to bartend and never would I allow someone to drink a drink that I made that was disgusting. We all hated it. I didn’t want to make a big deal and talk to a manager. The server should be trained better. Also she spilled the martini on the floor and told us someone would clean it and they never did she also said she would have someone push the tables together for us and never did either. Music was way too loud for 3pm. Honestly I’ll never go back. I maybe should have talked to the manager but it’s uncomfortable to have to complain. I wonder if she ever even told the bartender or manager I was unhappy. Guessing she didn’t. We spent over $400 for crappy food and drinks. We also ordered chicken tenders. The server asked if we wanted carrots and celery without telling us there was an up charge. Good thing we asked. Who uncharged for celery and carrots. Especially with the prices

We just had a 50th Birthday party at the Whistle. The banquet room set up was very nice with great lighting, 6 large screen TVs and had room for a DJ. The appetizer and dinner was delicious. The banquet menu had a wide variety of options to choose from. Multiple bar tenders that shared walking the room checking on everyone drink. Overall, great serve! It was great working Julia to coordinate everything. I would recommend the Whistle for banquets and parties in the future.

Came in on a Wednesday night to catch the soccer game. From the number of giant TVs, you’d think this place was built for sports. But somehow, none of them were showing the game at first. We missed Diego’s opening goal before they finally switched one near us.

The vibe? Weird. Like walking into a Midwestern swingers convention. AARP cards on the table, knowing glances across the room, and laughter that hinted at after-hours plans. If Walton Goggins had appeared from the shadows with a sly grin and a key to the back room, I wouldn’t have been surprised.

The food? Classic catalog: edible, fine, but nothing that made me want to take a picture of it.

But the server? She was the MVP of the night. Friendly, attentive, and working way too hard for what I’m sure she was getting paid. It was just her and another half-present staffer handling everything, and despite being clearly stretched thin, she kept the beers coming, checked in often, got the game on, and even managed to smile through the chaos.

So yeah, the place feels like a confused mix of sports bar, retirement community mixer, and dive, and the food’s just OK.

But that server? She deserves a raise.

Would I come back? I have no reason to. But my server is the only reason we stayed.

We came in sat for almost 20 min and had to flag down a waitress before being served !! Only to find out they close the kitchen at 11:30 one person said 11:40 establishment doesn’t close until 2am! But anywho Marylin was very pleasant next time I wish the establishment would’ve led with the kitchen is closed when we walked in ! my drink was good as well “Apple Tini”

I had a really disappointing experience at The Whistle. After dining there on the 24th, I accidentally left my leftovers behind. When we went back shortly after, the staff had already thrown them out, but the bar kindly offered to have the kitchen remake them, which I truly appreciated and thought was great customer service.

Unfortunately, when I went to eat the chili cheese fries from that order a couple of days later, I found a dried-up bug in the chili after I had already eaten most of it. It was clearly cooked in, not something that ended up there later. I logically got sick right after because that was disgusting and felt violating.

I reached out to the restaurant, and while the manager responded promptly and politely, they ultimately declined to offer a refund, citing that the food was remade outside of their usual procedures and taken off-site. While I understand their policy and appreciate the initial gesture of remaking the food, I’m frustrated that a serious issue like this was brushed off. Especially since I know for a fact that the food was never left out, went straight into our fridge, and the presence of a cooked-in bug seems like a kitchen issue, not a storage one.

Prior to the finding a bug in my food issue, the food was good but unfortunately a whole dried bug trumps any positivity about the experience.

Our food was horrible, chips were very greasy and took over taste of the nacho appetizer.
When I mentioned it to our waitress(who could’ve cared less) said ok, do you want another round of beverages. Then we got the bill and sticker shock for quality of food and lack of customer service. Our bill was $35 more than other local establishments in the area that have better food and service.

Had the BLT club, vegetable tacos and fried pickles. All was really good. Price on food wasn’t too bad, beer was a bit pricey and was only knock, but not a deal killer.

Love this new place in my neighborhood! Have gone 3 times already and everything has been delicious, plus a huge selection of beer. Love sitting right outside where you can still watch the screens and have a conversation. Plus they have the best server, Ron, don’t ever let him go he’s taken care of us each time and has an impeccable memory!
