Visited for dinner on 10/4/2025 – after reading everyone’s reviews I went and this review is my visit: my steak temperature and cooking was excellent, the shrimps were freshly fried, the cook too order pasta was prepared quickly and brought to my table, the crab legs tasting was average and they did come out of the shell easily. The server and the employees on the line were friendly. I did go when the restaurant opened and did not wait later in the evening to go. I was seated quickly and got my drink order just as quickly. There are many choices to choose from and inside the restaurant is set up nicely with outside seating.

It was simply delightful, our server Jade was fantastic and made our night even better than it was originally. The buffet has a variety of options with a salad bar, dessert bar, and of course the all you can eat crab legs and filet. They were both delicious. I love eating here since I’m allergic to fish I can only have shellfish, and crab is one of my favorites so I eat it up when I’m here. They provide you a utensil to break open the crab, and they also give you a little cup of melted butter to dip the crab into. It’s very delicious, and so is the filet. I enjoyed the shrimp as well and some of the desserts. For the pasta you must order it and they bring it to your table. I loved every second, so yummy! Definitely worth the price! You could pay that much for just a little bit of crab but here you get unlimited crab. Highly recommend. They have an indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. It’s decorated very well and it’s so pretty. A nice splurge.

Visited on a birthday trip and made special plans to visit here since I have seen it on social media, etc. Needless to say, my sister and I were very disappointed. The price is $60 for adult buffet, which was very small. The highlight of what we visited for was the crab legs and filet mignon. The crab legs were okay, but seemed overcooked as the shells were flimsy making them difficult to crack. The flavor of the crab was still good. The filet mignon, on the other hand, was extremely disappointing. I asked for medium cook twice, and received rare, twice. My sister also asked for medium and hers was rare. When I say rare, the steaks were pretty much raw. She always orders steak medium rare, and it was way underdone for her liking. We couldn’t eat it…the only reason I tried again after the first one was because I saw them refill the steaks and figured that *maybe* I was given the wrong cook before, but, no. It was the same as the first and was not able to eat it. The steak also had very little flavor, just disappointing for sure. The salad bar on the buffet was the highlight for me. Although it didn’t have extensive selection for toppings, it was fresh and their ranch was delicious. The made to order pasta was also good and prepared fresh to your liking with whichever noodles type, sauce type, protein and vegetables that you like. The dessert options were very minimal and mediocre. The service was good, it was very busy but our drinks were kept full and the staff kept the table clean by removing dirty plates and replacing the shell plate used for discarding the shells regularly. I think the buffet was overpriced for being so small and the quality of the food on the low end. I’m not typically one to write poor reviews, but I must be honest as I had such high expectations for this birthday dinner with family. I’m glad we visited The Wharf for the experience; however, I would not recommend this place and I personally would never choose to return in the future.

Our waitress was so amazing! I asked to speak to the manager to brag. It’s so rare these days to have such an amazingly positive experience. The food was amazing. Our steak was better than the steak we got the day before from McGuires. The view and atmosphere outside was awesome. We will be back for every visit!

All you can eat crab legs are on the small side compared to other places. The fried oysters were a little over cooked. Other than that, it was very great food. The seafood did not taste frozen at all. Every thing seemed to be very fresh. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more upscale buffet.

Highly recommend the build your own pasta – cooked fresh for you and was delicious. Did scallop and steak yum … filet mignon and crab legs were good. The crab legs are very popular. If you aren’t a big eater ask them to only give you 1 half crab, they gave me two halves and it was too much for me, don’t like wasting. The Mac and cheese was the best buffet Mac I ever had! Mixed it with the collard greens yum. Dessert bar is good- would be nice if they had ice cream. Loved the key lime cup and warm cobbler. They have a salt water aquarium but only saw a few anemones and a clown fish, would be nice if they put more fish in there. Server was attentive and cooks who bring the BYO were awesome. Bring the cooks CASH tip since they don’t get a share from the servers and they’re the ones doing the cooking and they bring it to your table.

The first night in Panama, Florida my family and I visited The Wharf. Its an all you can eat buffet located in The Wharf condominiums. Inside was a beautiful saltwater fish tank and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. My family and I were seated immediately upon walking in. We wanted to sit outside by the lake. They put on a beautiful light show and its such a wonderful addition to dinner. Service was excellent. Our every requested was taken care of. I know some people say $60.00 is pricey however it is all you can eat crablegs, filet mignon, and a whole lot of other things. I thought that was an aceptional deal. Desserts were very tasty. They had clean nice bathrooms. It was a wonderful dining experience. After dinner there is nothing like a walk around the lake. It was beautiful with all the condo lights on with the dancing fountains of color in the lake. Great for families or that romantic dinner. You got to try it!

We stayed at Laketown Wharf and was totally stuffed when we left the Wharf. The food was super fresh and delicious. The fried oysters, flounder and crablegs were my favorites. The low country potatoes and sausage were also good. It was a bit crowded our first time in line but the second time wasn’t too bad. I do like that they serve the crablegs. It cuts down on waste and keeps cost down. $60 wasn’t bad for the quality of food. We’ll definitely go back.
I would suggest gloves at the buffet. Other than that we were pleased.

This is definitely my preferable option for AYCE crab legs and steak. The vibe is clean, dim light, classy, and more systematic. Their crab legs are more fresh and sweeter. The steaks are tender and juicy as they are made to order. I also enjoy the she crab soup. I wish they have an ice cream machine here.
