Great meal and atmosphere at The Wharf! We ordered the fish and chips basket, grilled shrimp tacos, and the calabash shrimp basket, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fish was crispy, the shrimp were spot on, and the tacos had great flavor. We paired it all with a glass of delicious rosé, which was the perfect complement to the meal. The portion sizes are huge, so the price is absolutely worth it. Our server, Julia, was friendly and attentive and made the experience even better. With the waterfront setting, great food, and excellent service, it made for a really enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back when visiting Jekyll Island.

The spectacular view and great drinks from the bar couldn’t really make up for the sparse service. The food was good. The chicken sandwich was delicious and the corn riblets were unique and tasty. The colored eggs on the Cobb salad were a turn off and the tiny bit of dressing did not make it a great choice. It was not busy for lunch while we were there. They need to either hire more help, or train their staff to be more attentive.

The shrimp and grits here are so good, it’s impossible for me to order anything else. Thankfully my boyfriend generally does so I can say the fish and chips and chicken tenders are also fabulous here. Great casual, cozy atmosphere, very convenient if you’re staying at the club, and food has been very good and relatively quickly every time we’ve been there.

I enjoyed a dinner at The Wharf with my partners family. I shared a pickle chips appetizer and ate the shrimp and grits for me meal. Our server was fantastic! Both attentive and friendly. The food tasted delicious. We were so full that a few of us took home leftovers and also got dessert to go. While we ate inside, the outside had stunning views!

The atmosphere and view overlooking the water with the sunset was absolutely AMAZING! Lots of space for everyone and very nicely decorated for the holidays. It was my family’s first time here to the area which we really love. The food was good but overcooked, Salad was great. However, the service was a let down. My son spilt his entire water all over the bench, table and himself – it took 15 minutes just to get a staff to help us. We had to ask several different people who weren’t our waiter to help us get silverware, assist with the spill, and get refills for our waters which has been empty from the time we sat till half way through our meal. We also grabbed condiments from another table because we didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes for ketchup. It had been 8 hours driving and we were so excited for this place, but the service from our waiter was a massive let down. Hope y’all get a different waiter to have a better experience.

The food was excellent. The view was amazing. Eating on the dock is a favorite for me, but a few birds got closer than I’d like, but we did choose to eat where they live. The portions are huge. Could have easily split this salad with another person. We also got the keylime pie, but no pics because I wasnt going to chance a birds getting a bite before I did! And yes, it was the best on the island!

We stopped in for drinks, appetizers and dessert. Great evening and our waitress “Cat” was on top of everything. Wonderful specialty drinks and appetizers. Topped off with dessert and beautiful sunset. Great spot and great food and service

I had an amazing time at the wharf. It was super rainy and camping with a dog was very hard so one day we needed to eat dinner while it was raining and the wharf had a great area that allowed for us to eat dinner. The view was absolutely beautiful along with the amazing food that we had. I enjoyed eating my seafood, and the service was absolutely incredible and very kind.

Local seafood restaurant perched on the Jekyll Creek overlooking the quaint landscape. We saw a few WWII era planes fly overhead while enjoying the beautiful day. The fish n chips were a good choice with really amazing fries. The location is what made this restaurant an enjoyable afternoon from traveling.

I would avoid this restaurant if you have a gluten allergy, as the menu offers extremely limited gluten-free options. I ordered the Lowcountry boil and it was way overcooked and lacked flavor, which was disappointing. We also shared steamed peel-and-eat shrimp that were similarly overcooked. The wine list is very limited, and the Cabernet Sauvignon I tried tasted awful and was not drinkable. On the positive side, the atmosphere was fun—there was a live band on Saturday night, and the location is easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Being situated at the end of a dock does give it a cool, waterfront vibe. Unfortunately, despite the good atmosphere, the food and drink quality fell short, and I would not recommend returning.
