Had a great lunch at The West End Marina & Restaurants. Very attentive service from Cheryl, she even provided our dog with his own bowl of ice water ❤️ Billy came by and made sure we were well taken care of. Had the seafood cobb salad, highly recommend. Plenty of crab meat and shrimp in big bed of greens with bacon, blue cheese, red onion, carrots, cucumber dressed with a very tasty lemon parmesan dressing. Husband had house salad with blackened shrimp. Also very good. Got key lime pie to go Make sure you try this place!

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Honestly, I was disturbed by the birds eating from unbussed tables. They would fly right over your table with scraps in their mouth. My group moved inside and all was well.

Food is delicious. I ate here everything day for a week and tried the entire menu. I recommend all of it! The portions are large as well. Atmosphere could be better, seating inside is minimal and the outside seating has a bird problem. They poop on the tables and chairs. Bring a smacking stick!

Always have the best experience here! Great staff, Eric served us at the bar and was extremely nice, made us feel very welcome. I got the fish tacos and the flounder was perfect. The burgers are also my favorite! One of the two best burgers I’ve ever had. Just over all great experience!

First things first, our waitress Colby Nicole was great and very welcoming. But there was a male waiter that helped her bring the food out who was extremely rude and disrespectful to my sister-in-law. He brought out the wrong dish, and when she tried to tell him no one at our table ordered that dish, he was adamant that someone did and he sat it down anyway. Then there’s the food. It was not great. The fried shrimp had no taste, it was just fried. I had the crab pot which came out 15 minutes after everyone else’s food at the table. I posted a picture and as you can see there is absolutely no seasoning. I had to ask for some on the side.

This restaurant was absolutely great! We had lunch and dinner there and both meals were delicious! Mala was our sever for lunch and she was fantastic. Very friendly and shared her favorite appetizer with us, shrimp kisses! Best I’ve had. Oscar was our server for dinner and he was just as good! I had A ribeye that was to die for. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Galveston

This place never fails to deliver. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is relaxed. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was not only delicious it was well presented. They remove the tails from the shrimp that was deep in the grits and the tails on two shrimp at the top remained for garnish. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak these were both off of the brunch menu. And her chicken fried steak was much larger than you would expect for a brunch it included eggs toast and fruit. I will always come here this is one of my very favorite spots to eat.

We visited for the chili cook-off and had a great time. We stopped by the bar and the bartenders were super friendly and even tried their hand at making a favorite drink of mine from Virginia Beach. Fun little place.

We paddled to West End Marina and ate at the Downstairs Sandbar! It was absolutely delicious. We LOVED everything that was ordered. The Ceviche was our favorite, definitely try it. The portions were generous and the prices are fair. Our waiter was very friendly and the service was fast! 10 out of 10!

Heavenly food! Gumbo has chicken, shrimp and sausage. The garlic bread is fresh and perfectly toasted. The boudin and brie eggrolls were divine. And the Bloody Mary, well, it’s been a minute since I’ve had one that good! The service was wonderful. Patrick took excellent care of us! The restaurant has plenty of seating options. Upper deck, lower deck, with multiple viewing options. TVs available for viewing sports. Good news, they loves dogs, so bring your furry friend! We pulled the boat up directly to the entrance and walked in for a fun lunch! I love this place!
