We have booked Sunday Roast (additionally Leeks Gratin, Cauli cheese and Pigs in. Blankets). Prior the main course we had Welsh rarebit (good but could be more deeper in taste) as a starter + two cocktails (based of Welsh, local gin) and two (Fabolous!) Pilsner bottles from legendary Wrexham Brewery.
Food was simply stunning!
I had Meat Trio and my partner Beef option.
Decent portions (first of all we thought it’s not impressive in size but at the end – thankfully for add ons – we finished satisfied) and very tender.
Quality of products were well over average and all of the toppings been delicious
Same with gravy!
We didn’t find a space for desserts unfortunately
Service was amazing!
Maybe only the waiting time for the main course was a bit too long.
Nice, cozy, original post-industrial interiors with XMas decor bring lovely ambience ️
Definitely we gonna get back to try Taste of Wales board!
As this is probably the Best place in Jack’s Town to try some traditional Welsh stuff!

We came for dinner on NYE and the service was brilliant. We had a table for 16 (plus two children). The waitress was so kind and attentive to our orders throughout the night . Our food orders were taken in advance on booking the table and all food arrived quickly. Our only complaint was the beef dishes were over cooked by they were happy to remove this from our bill! Thank you team at the Welsh house and happy new year

one of the Welsh Huts! The food was absolutely stunning and something for every one. Loved the Welsh ingredients incorporated into all the options! Best of all was the exceptional service from Ruby and Lily they went the extra mile which enhanced the experience. We will be back soon!

Booked a table for 6pm on pancake day following a social media post – no end time was stated. Took nearly 10m to even be seated despite the restaurant being nearly empty.
When we asked about the pancakes, we were told they weren’t available. The waitress seemed absolutely clueless. After about 20m we were finally served warm tap water for the table. We ordered drinks only to be told the Gower ale wasn’t available! Ended up leaving and going to our local Wetherspoons instead!

Came with my partner on a quiet Tuesday, Harsh served us and was lovely and attentive. I had the salmon fish cake as a starter which was unreal. For my main I had the Shepherds Pie which was even better. Amazing food and amazing service.

Went here on a monday evening early with my wife and two small kids. Greeted nicely and shown to a table. Drinks order taken promptly. They were very good at acknowledging my children have a milk allergy and shown a list of allergens in the children menu and even sent a chef over to check which was really good for our trust in them and good on their part for showing they care. There were a couple of options which they could choose from. Burger and chips which they enjoyed. And yes sometimes it contains milk depending on the bun lol wife had fish and chips which she said was nice and I had burger and chips. Now, the chips were the best ive had in a long time. Really crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Unfortunately the burger was not up to the standard i was expecting for £17 as it had a tough rubber texture to it. I was expecting a high quality patty for that kind of money. Nonetheless experience was good, decor was good, service was good. Would I go again? Yes but i would order something different.

Have never been to a place where the staff are so attentive. We were treated like VIP’s. They couldn’t do enough for us. We thought that when we were in the pod outside we would be forgotten about but couldn’t have been further from the truth staff really made it a special occasion for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious especially the scotch egg and chips were stunning. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making it really special.

What a fabulous evening spent at the Welsh House. Highly recommend. Food was amazing. I had the beef with pepper sauce, my daughter in law had the beef dinner. We were not disappointed. The outstanding, quality, taste and service were outstanding. There was a fair choice of dishes some with a Welsh twist which you’d expect from a restaurant called the Welsh Kitchen. Choice of starters, mains and desserts. Some dishes featured cockles and other Welsh delicacies.. we were served by Jess who was friendly, checked back to see if everything was ok. She was on hand to get anything we needed, very attentive. Atmosphere was great with Christmas music playing in the background it made the evening even more enjoyable.

Visited the Welsh House Swansea for a birthday meal. We had phoned to book, which they advised we were able to have one of their outdoor huts. On arrival, nobody was aware of our booking however as it was quiet this issue was resolved quickly.
The 5 of us all had different main meals and each meal was absolutely delicious! Each dish was full of flavour and were great portions. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and all of us absolutely loved the chips! We will definitely return. Food was reasonably priced.

Called in for lunch. The food was amazing. Simple classic dishes that were well cooked & presented. We had popcorn cockles followed by Shepherds Pie & the faggots. With the bread & butter pudding to finish. We had a mocktail each & coffee to finish. All of the dishes were very tasty & arrived at the table piping hot. We will definitely be returning.
